Jehoiada and his sons brought out the king’s son and put the crown on him; they presented him with a copy of the covenant and proclaimed him king. They anointed him and shouted,“ Long live the king!”

主迎迓之賜以厚福、將精金之冠戴於其首、

使我儕在我上帝前、為王、為祭司、可王於地、

現今列王、爾當覺悟、世間掌權者、須受警教、當以敬畏奉事主、當喜樂又當悚懼、當拜服其子、恐其速然震怒、爾曹即滅亡於道中、凡倚賴之者、俱為有福、

大衛友亞基人戶篩至押沙龍前、曰、願王萬歲、願王萬歲、

所愛之兄弟、聽之哉、天主豈非選此世之貧者、俾富於信、而嗣天主所許愛己者之國乎、

主立法於雅各、定律於以色列、命我列祖傳示子孫、

寶座四周、有二十四座、二十四長老坐於其上、身衣白衣、首戴金冕、

人當求法言及證詞、若不循此而言、則不得見晨光、

其目如火燄、首戴多冕、又有所書之名、己之外、無有識之者、

於是以色列諸長老至希伯崙見王、大衛王在希伯崙、與之立約於主前、諸長老膏大衛立為以色列王、

當以證詞包束、以法言封緘於我門徒間、於我門徒間或作授我門徒

時二十四長老俯伏於坐寶座者前、崇拜永生之主、脫冕置於寶座前、曰、

惟見耶穌稍卑於天使、因死之苦、冠以尊榮、致其由天主恩為眾人受死、受死原文作嘗死

祭司撒督自會幕中取盛膏之角、以膏膏所羅門、遂吹角、民眾呼曰、願所羅門王萬歲、

天主在西乃山諭摩西畢、賜之二法板、即石板、其上之字、乃天主親手天主親手原文作天主之指所書者、

君王必為爾為養父、后妃必為爾為乳母、俯伏在地、拜於爾前、餂爾足塵、使爾知我乃主、凡仰望我者、不至羞愧、

既登王位、當由祭司利未人所守此律法之書、抄錄一卷、存於其所、畢生誦之、則可知畏其天主耶和華、恪守此律法一切言、遵行此諸律例、俾不心驕藐視同族人、不向左不向右偏離誡命、則可在以色列人中久居王位、爰及其子孫、

我見其將仆於地、且知其仆後必不能生、遂近其身以殺之、取其首上之冕、臂上之釧、攜至我主前、

在彼祭司撒督與先知拿單當膏之立為以色列王、且吹角曰、願所羅門王萬歲、

撒母耳取膏一瓶、傾於掃羅首、與之接吻曰、主膏爾立為其民之君、

前行後從之眾呼曰、荷散拿譯即求救之義大衛之裔、託主名而來者、當稱頌、在至上之處當稱荷散拿、

必使彼之敵人蒙羞抱愧、使彼首戴冠冕、發顯榮光、

王女約示巴、以亞哈謝之子約阿施、於將見殺之眾王子中竊之出、與其乳媼匿於寢室、約示巴乃約蘭王之女、亞哈謝之妹、大祭司耶何耶大之妻、彼匿約阿施以避亞他利雅、免其見殺、

受艱難之試而能忍者福矣、因歷試之後、必得永生之冕、即主所許愛己者、
