The fear of God came on all the surrounding kingdoms when they heard how the Lord had fought against the enemies of Israel.

All the surrounding kingdoms began to have respect for God. They had heard how the Lord had fought against Israel’s enemies.

And the fear of God came on all the kingdoms of the countries when they heard that the Lord had fought against the enemies of Israel.

When all the surrounding kingdoms heard that the Lord himself had fought against the enemies of Israel, the fear of God came over them.

The terror of God was on all the kingdoms of the lands when they heard that the LORD had fought against the enemies of Israel.

犹大四围地上的邦国都惧怕耶和华，不敢与约沙法争战。

他们起行。神使周围城镇的人都惊恐，就不追赶雅各的儿子们了。

又攻打基拉耳四围一切的城镇；城中的人都惧怕耶和华。犹大人掳掠了一切的城镇，因其中的财物很多，

万民听见就战抖；疼痛抓住非利士的居民。那时，以东的族长惊惶，摩押的英雄被战兢抓住，迦南所有的居民都融化。惊骇恐惧临到他们；耶和华啊，因你膀臂的大能，他们如石头寂静不动，等候你百姓过去，等候你所赎的百姓过去。

因为主使亚兰人的军队听见战车战马的声音，大军的声音，他们就彼此说：“看哪，这必是以色列王雇用赫人诸王和埃及诸王来攻击我们。”

约旦河西亚摩利人的众王和靠海迦南人的众王，听见耶和华在以色列人前面使约旦河的水干了，直到他们过了河，众王因以色列人的缘故都胆战心惊，勇气全失。

对他们说：“我知道耶和华已经把这地赐给你们了，并且我们也都惧怕你们。这地所有的居民在你们面前都融化了。因为我们听见你们出埃及的时候，耶和华怎样在你们前面使红海的水干了，并且你们怎样处置约旦河东的两个亚摩利王，西宏和噩，把他们完全消灭。我们一听见就胆战心惊，人人因你们的缘故勇气全失。耶和华—你们的神是天上地下的神。

他们对他说：“你的仆人是因耶和华—你神的名从极远之地来的。我们听见他的名声，他在埃及所做的一切，以及他向约旦河东的两个亚摩利王，希实本王西宏和在亚斯她录的巴珊王噩所做的一切。我们的长老和我们当地所有的居民对我们说：‘你们手里要带着路上用的干粮去迎接以色列人，对他们说：我们是你们的仆人。现在求你们与我们立约。’

凡你所到的地方，我要使那里的众百姓在你面前惊慌失措，又要使你所有的仇敌转身逃跑。
