城中的人与迦勒底人争战只会使自己的房屋堆满死尸，因为我要在愤怒中毁灭他们。他们作恶多端，我必掩面不理这城。

敌人伤亡惨重，因为他们有上帝的帮助。他们占据敌人的土地，一直到被掳的时候。

我们岂能再违背你的诫命，与这些行为可憎的人通婚？若我们这样行，你岂不发怒毁灭我们，使我们无一幸免吗？

祂要审判列国，使列国尸横遍野。祂要毁灭世上的首领。
