After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the Lord and to praise him for the splendor of his holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying:“ Give thanks to the Lord, for his love endures forever.”

Jehoshaphat asked the people for advice. Then he appointed men to sing to the Lord. He wanted them to praise the Lord because of his glory and holiness. They marched out in front of the army. They said,“ Give thanks to the Lord. His faithful love continues forever.”

And when he had taken counsel with the people, he appointed those who were to sing to the Lord and praise him in holy attire, as they went before the army, and say,“ Give thanks to the Lord, for his steadfast love endures forever.”

After consulting the people, the king appointed singers to walk ahead of the army, singing to the Lord and praising him for his holy splendor. This is what they sang:“ Give thanks to the Lord; his faithful love endures forever!”

Then he consulted with the people and appointed some to sing for the LORD and some to praise the splendor of his holiness. When they went out in front of the armed forces, they kept singing: Give thanks to the LORD, for his faithful love endures forever.

When he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who sang to the Lord and those who praised Him in holy attire, as they went out before the army and said,“ Give thanks to the Lord, for His faithfulness is everlasting.”

And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the Lord, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying:“ Praise the Lord, For His mercy endures forever.”

And when he had taken counsel with the people, he appointed them that should sing unto Jehovah, and give praise in holy array, as they went out before the army, and say, Give thanks unto Jehovah; for his lovingkindness endureth for ever.

Then he consulted with the people and appointed some to sing for the Lord and some to praise the splendor of His holiness. When they went out in front of the armed forces, they kept singing: Give thanks to the Lord, for His faithful love endures forever.

And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy[ endureth] for ever.

He met with the people and appointed musicians to play before the LORD and praise his majestic splendor. As they marched ahead of the warriors they said:“ Give thanks to the LORD, for his loyal love endures.”

When he had taken counsel with the people, he appointed those who were to sing to Yahweh, and give praise in holy array, as they go out before the army, and say,“ Give thanks to Yahweh; for his loving kindness endures forever.”

要把耶和華的名的榮耀歸給他，要以聖潔的裝束敬拜耶和華（“要以聖潔的裝束敬拜耶和華”或譯：“在耶和華顯現的時候，要敬拜他”，或“要在耶和華聖潔的光輝中敬拜他”）。

建築工人奠立耶和華殿根基的時候，祭司都穿上禮服，拿著號筒，亞薩子孫的利未人，都拿著響鈸，站在自己的位置，按照以色列王大衛所定的儀式讚美耶和華。他們讚美和稱謝，向耶和華歌唱，說：“耶和華是至善的，他向以色列人所施的慈愛永遠長存。”他們讚美耶和華的時候，眾人都大聲呼喊，因為耶和華殿的根基已經奠定。

歡喜和快樂的聲音，新郎和新婦的聲音；還要聽見那些帶著感恩祭到耶和華殿的人的聲音說：“你們要稱謝萬軍之耶和華，因為耶和華是至善的，他的慈愛永遠長存。”因為我必使這地被擄的歸回，像起初一樣。’”這是耶和華說的。

和他們一起的有希幔、耶杜頓和其餘被選出，有記名的人，都稱謝耶和華，因為他的慈愛永遠常存。

那火降下，耶和華的榮光停在殿上的時候，以色列眾人都看見；於是他們在鋪石地跪下，俯伏在地，敬拜稱頌耶和華說：“耶和華是良善的，他的慈愛永遠長存。”

祭司都站在自己的崗位上；利未人也站著，拿著大衛王所做的耶和華的樂器，稱頌耶和華，因為他的慈愛永遠長存；大衛藉著他們讚美耶和華的時候，祭司在眾人前面吹號；以色列眾人都站著。

要以聖潔的裝束敬拜耶和華（“要以聖潔的裝束敬拜耶和華”或譯：“在耶和華顯現的時候，要敬拜他”，或“要在耶和華聖潔的光輝中敬拜他”），全地都要在他面前戰慄。

願主我們的神的恩慈臨到我們身上；願你為我們的緣故，堅立我們手所作的工；我們手所作的工，願你堅立。

王又指派在耶和華殿中的利未人拿著響鈸和琴瑟，是照著大衛、王的先見迦得和拿單先知所吩咐的，就是耶和華藉他的先知所吩咐的。利未人拿著大衛的樂器，祭司持著號筒，一同站著。希西家吩咐在祭壇上獻上燔祭。開始獻燔祭的時候，就開始向耶和華歌唱，並且用號筒和以色列王大衛的樂器伴奏。全體會眾都叩拜，歌唱的歌唱，吹號的吹號，直到燔祭都獻完了。獻完了祭，王和所有在場的人，都屈膝叩拜。希西家王和眾領袖，又吩咐利未人用大衛和先見亞薩的詩詞讚美耶和華，於是他們歡歡喜喜地讚美耶和華，低頭敬拜。

耶路撒冷城牆舉行奉獻典禮的時候，眾民在各地尋找利未人，帶他們到耶路撒冷來，要他們稱謝、歌唱、敲鈸、彈琴鼓瑟，歡歡喜喜地舉行奉獻典禮。

大衛與千夫長、百夫長和所有的領袖商議。然後大衛對以色列全體會眾說：“你們如果認為好，認為這事是出於耶和華我們的神，我們就差遣人走遍各地，去見留在以色列各地的兄弟，以及和他們在一起住在那些有草場的城的祭司和利未人，叫他們都聚集到我們這裡來。

你們要稱謝耶和華，因他本是良善的，他的慈愛永遠長存。你們要稱謝萬神之神，因為他的慈愛永遠長存。你們要稱謝萬主之主，因為他的慈愛永遠長存。要稱謝那獨行大奇事的，因為他的慈愛永遠長存。要稱謝那用智慧造成諸天的，因為他的慈愛永遠長存。要稱謝那鋪張大地在水上的，因為他的慈愛永遠長存。要稱謝那造成大光的，因為他的慈愛永遠長存。他造太陽管白晝，因為他的慈愛永遠長存。他造月亮和星星管黑夜，因為他的慈愛永遠長存。要稱謝那擊殺埃及所有頭生的，因為他的慈愛永遠長存。他領以色列人從他們中間出來，因為他的慈愛永遠長存。他用大能的手和伸出來的膀臂領他們出來，因為他的慈愛永遠長存。要稱謝那分開紅海的，因為他的慈愛永遠長存。他領以色列人從海中經過，因為他的慈愛永遠長存。他把法老和他的軍兵都抖落在紅海裡，因為他的慈愛永遠長存。要稱謝那引導自己的子民走過曠野的，因為他的慈愛永遠長存。要稱謝那擊殺大君王的，因為他的慈愛永遠長存。他殺戮了強盛的君王，因為他的慈愛永遠長存。他殺了亞摩利王西宏，因為他的慈愛永遠長存。他殺了巴珊王噩，因為他的慈愛永遠長存。他把他們的地賜給了自己的子民作產業，因為他的慈愛永遠長存。他把他們的地賜給他的僕人以色列作產業，因為他的慈愛永遠長存。他在我們卑微的時候顧念我們，因為他的慈愛永遠長存。他救我們脫離了敵人，因為他的慈愛永遠長存。他把糧食賜給全人類，因為他的慈愛永遠長存。你們要稱謝天上的神，因為他的慈愛永遠長存。

沒有智謀，國家敗落；謀士眾多，就能得勝。

神從全美的錫安，已經彰顯榮光。

在耶路撒冷的以色列人，都十分歡樂地守除酵節七天；利未人和祭司天天讚美耶和華，用響亮的樂器讚美耶和華。
