看哪，他们怎样报复我们，要来驱逐我们出离你的地，就是你赐给我们为业之地。

See how they are repaying us by coming to drive us out of the possession you gave us as an inheritance.

See how they are paying us back. They are coming to drive us out. They want to take over the land you gave us as our share.

他们出城走了不远，约瑟对家宰说：“起来，追那些人去，追上了就对他们说：‘你们为什么以恶报善呢？

我若以恶报那与我交好的人（连那无故与我为敌的，我也救了他），

他们向我以恶报善，使我的灵魂孤苦。

以恶报善的，祸患必不离他的家。

耶和华以色列的神在他百姓以色列面前赶出亚摩利人，你竟要得他们的地吗？你的神基抹所赐你的地你不是得为业吗？耶和华我们的神在我们面前所赶出的人，我们就得他的地。

岂可以恶报善呢？他们竟挖坑要害我的性命！求你记念我怎样站在你面前为他们代求，要使你的忿怒向他们转消。
