你们要说：‘王如此说：把这个人关在监狱里，使他受苦，吃不饱喝不足，直等到我平安回来。’”

说：‘王这样吩咐：把这人囚在监里，少给他食物和水，直到我平平安安回来。’”

告之曰、王命以此人拘於獄、加以艱苦、不使之食足飲足、原文作使之少食餅少飲水直待我安然而歸、

and say,‘ This is what the king says: Put this fellow in prison and give him nothing but bread and water until I return safely.’”

and say,‘ Thus says the king, Put this fellow in prison and feed him with meager rations of bread and water until I return in peace.’”

and say,‘ This is what the king says: Put this guy in prison and feed him only a little bread and water until I come back safely.’”

and say,‘ This is what the king says:“ Put this man in prison, and feed him enough bread and water to survive until I return safely.” ’ ”

and say,‘ Thus says the king:“ Put this fellow in prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and water of affliction, until I return in peace.”’”

亚撒恼恨先见，为了这事向他发怒，将他囚在监里。那时亚撒也虐待一些百姓。

大卫曾说：“我在旷野为那人看守他一切所有的，以致他未失去任何一样东西，实在是徒然了！他竟然向我以恶报善。

因为你们自己明明知道，主的日子来到会像贼在夜间突然来到一样。人正说平安稳定的时候，灾祸忽然临到他们，如同阵痛临到怀胎的妇人一样，他们绝逃脱不了。

但法利赛人听见，就说：“这个人赶鬼，无非是靠着鬼王别西卜罢了。”

要欢喜快乐，因为你们在天上的赏赐是很多的。在你们以前的先知，人也是这样迫害他们。”

王对他说：“我要你发誓多少次，你才会奉耶和华的名向我说实话呢？”

他们开始控告他说：“我们见这人煽惑我们的国民，禁止我们纳税给凯撒，并说自己是基督，是王。”

以色列王说：“把米该雅带走，交回给亚们市长和约阿施王子。你们要说：‘王如此说，把这个人关在监狱里，使他受苦，吃不饱喝不足，直等到我平安回来。’”米该雅说：“你若真的能平安回来，那就是耶和华没有藉我说这话了。”他又说：“众百姓啊，你们都要听！”

他的路时常亨通，你的审判不在他眼里。至于他所有的敌人，他都向他们发怒气。

这样的人听见这诅咒的话，心里还庆幸，说：‘我虽然随着顽固的心行事，却还是平安无事。’以致有水的和无水的都消灭了。

就下手拿住使徒，把他们押在公共拘留所内。

就打耶利米先知，用耶和华殿里上便雅悯门内的枷锁，把他锁在那里。次日，巴施户珥开枷释放耶利米。于是耶利米对他说：“耶和华不叫你的名为巴施户珥，而叫你玛歌珥‧米撒毕，

主虽然以艰难给你当饼，以困苦给你当水，你的教师却不再隐藏，你的眼睛必看见你的教师。

他们是基督的用人吗？我说句狂话，我更是。我比他们忍受更多劳苦，坐过更多次监牢，受过无数次的鞭打，常常冒死。

众人听他说到这句话，就高声说：“这样的人，从地上除掉他吧！他是该死的。”

智慧人有所惧怕，就远离恶事；愚昧人却狂傲自恃。

住在地上的人会因他们而欢喜快乐，互相馈送礼物，因为这两位先知曾使住在地上的人受痛苦。

我吃灰烬如同吃饭，我喝的有眼泪搀杂。

你以眼泪当食物给他们吃，量出满碗的眼泪给他们喝。

希律分封王，因他兄弟之妻希罗底的缘故，并因他所做的一切恶事，受了约翰的责备。希律在一切事上又添了这一件，就是把约翰收在监里。
