and say,‘ This is what the king says: Put this fellow in prison and give him nothing but bread and water until I return safely.’”

and say,‘ This is what the king says: Put this guy in prison and feed him only a little bread and water until I come back safely.’”

and say,‘ This is what the king says:“ Put this man in prison, and feed him enough bread and water to survive until I return safely.” ’ ”

and say,‘ Thus says the king:“ Put this fellow in prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and water of affliction, until I return in peace.”’”

亚撒因此恼恨先见，将他囚在监里。那时亚撒也虐待一些人民。

大卫曾说：“我在旷野为那人看守所有的，以致他一样不失落，实在是徒然了！他向我以恶报善。

因为你们自己明明晓得，主的日子来到，好像夜间的贼一样。人正说“平安稳妥”的时候，灾祸忽然临到他们，如同产难临到怀胎的妇人一样，他们绝不能逃脱。

但法利赛人听见，就说：“这个人赶鬼，无非是靠着鬼王别西卜啊。”

应当欢喜快乐，因为你们在天上的赏赐是大的。在你们以前的先知，人也是这样逼迫他们。”

王对他说：“我当嘱咐你几次，你才奉耶和华的名向我说实话呢？”

就告他说：“我们见这人诱惑国民，禁止纳税给凯撒，并说自己是基督，是王。”

以色列王说：“将米该雅带回，交给邑宰亚们和王的儿子约阿施，说王如此说，把这个人下在监里，使他受苦，吃不饱喝不足，等候我平平安安地回来。”米该雅说：“你若能平平安安地回来，那就是耶和华没有藉我说这话了”；又说：“众民哪，你们都要听！”

凡他所做的，时常稳固；你的审判超过他的眼界。至于他一切的敌人，他都向他们喷气。

听见这咒诅的话，心里仍是自夸说：‘我虽然行事心里顽梗，连累众人，却还是平安。’

就下手拿住使徒，收在外监。

他就打先知耶利米，用耶和华殿里便雅悯高门内的枷，将他枷在那里。次日，巴施户珥将耶利米开枷释放。于是耶利米对他说：“耶和华不是叫你的名为巴施户珥，乃是叫你玛歌珥米撒毕，

主虽然以艰难给你当饼，以困苦给你当水，你的教师却不再隐藏；你眼必看见你的教师。

他们是基督的仆人吗？（我说句狂话，）我更是。我比他们多受劳苦，多下监牢，受鞭打是过重的，冒死是屡次有的。

众人听他说到这句话，就高声说：“这样的人，从世上除掉他吧！他是不当活着的。”

智慧人惧怕，就远离恶事；愚妄人却狂傲自恃。

住在地上的人就为他们欢喜快乐，互相馈送礼物，因这两位先知曾叫住在地上的人受痛苦。

我吃过炉灰，如同吃饭；我所喝的与眼泪搀杂。

你以眼泪当食物给他们吃，又多量出眼泪给他们喝。

只是分封的王希律，因他兄弟之妻希罗底的缘故，并因他所行的一切恶事，受了约翰的责备；又另外添了一件，就是把约翰收在监里。
