蓋耶和華之目遍及天下、凡專心向之者、必顯其力以助之、爾所行者愚也、今而後爾必有戰事、

耶和華遍覽天下、見誠心從之者、則力庇焉。爾弗以之是賴、不智孰甚、嗣後戰鬥、靡有已時。

主目遍鑒天下、凡誠心向主者、主力助之、爾於此事、所行愚昧、此後爾必有戰事、

For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. You have done a foolish thing, and from now on you will be at war.”

The Lord looks out over the whole earth. He gives strength to those who commit their lives completely to him. You have done a foolish thing. From now on you will be at war.”

For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him. You have done foolishly in this, for from now on you will have wars.”

因為主的眼睛看顧義人，主的耳朵垂聽他們的祈禱；但主的臉卻敵對作惡的人。」

耶和華的眼目無處不在；壞人好人，他都察看。

誰藐視這日子，把它看為小呢？那七盞燈看見所羅巴伯手中的鉛垂線，就必歡喜；那七盞燈是耶和華的眼睛，遍察全地。

因為人的道路都在耶和華的眼前，他度量人一切的路徑；

耶和華的眼目向著義人，他的耳朵聽他們的呼求。

並且被造之物在神面前，沒有一樣不是顯明的；萬有在他眼前，都是赤裸敞開的；我們都要向他交代。

他俯身觀看天上和地上的事。

唉，無知的加拉太人哪！是誰迷惑了你們呢？被釘十字架的耶穌基督，難道不是先前被描繪在你們眼前的嗎？

你當留意純全的人，觀看正直的人，因為這些和平的人必有前途。

撒母耳對掃羅說：「你做了愚蠢的事！你沒有遵守耶和華你的神所吩咐你的誡命。不然，耶和華就會堅立你在以色列的王權到永遠了；

「可是神對他說：『你這愚妄的人哪！今夜，他們就要召回你的靈魂了。那麼，你所預備的要歸誰呢？』

拿單對大衛說：「你就是那人！耶和華以色列的神如此說：『我膏立你為以色列的王，解救你脫離掃羅的手。我把你主人的家交給你，把你主人的妃嬪交在你懷中，又把以色列和猶大家交給了你。如果這些還不夠，我會增添給你更多；但你為什麼藐視耶和華的話，做他眼中看為惡的事呢？你用刀劍擊殺了赫提人烏利亞，又娶他的妻子作你的妻子，你藉著亞捫人的刀劍殺了他！現在，刀劍必永不離開你的家，因為你藐視了我，娶了赫提人烏利亞的妻子作你的妻子。』「耶和華如此說：『看哪，我必從你家裡興起災禍攻擊你。我將在你眼前把你的妃嬪奪去，交給在你身邊的人，他會在日光之下、在你眼前與你的妃嬪同睡。你雖然在暗中行事，我卻要在全體以色列人面前，在日光之下施行這報應。』」

你這愚妄的人哪！你所種的如果不死，就得不到生命；

但是我告訴你們：所有向他弟兄發怒的，當遭受審判；罵他弟兄『廢物』的，當遭受議會的審判；罵『蠢貨』的，當遭受烈火的地獄。
