All who would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, were to be put to death, whether small or great, man or woman.

All those who wouldn’t obey the Lord, the God of Israel, would be killed. It wouldn’t matter how important they were. It wouldn’t matter whether they were men or women.

but that whoever would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, should be put to death, whether young or old, man or woman.

They agreed that anyone who refused to seek the Lord, the God of Israel, would be put to death— whether young or old, man or woman.

Whoever would not seek the LORD God of Israel would be put to death, young or old, man or woman.

and whoever would not seek the Lord God of Israel was to be put to death, whether small or great, man or woman.

“向别神献祭，不单单献给耶和华的，那人必要灭绝。

凡敬畏耶和华的，无论大小，主必赐福给他。

以利亚对他们说：“拿住巴力的先知，不让任何人逃走！”众人就拿住他们。以利亚带他们到基顺河边，在那里杀了他们。

那先知或那做梦的人要被处死，因为他出言悖逆那领你们出埃及地、救赎你脱离为奴之家的耶和华—你们的上帝，要引诱你离开耶和华—你上帝吩咐你要行的道。这样，你就把恶从你中间除掉。“你的同胞兄弟，或是你的儿女，或是你怀中的妻，或是如同自己性命的朋友，若暗中引诱你，说：‘我们去事奉别神吧。’那是你和你列祖所不认识的，你四围列国的神明，无论是离你近或离你远，从地这边到地那边，你都不可附和他，也不要听从他。你的眼不可顾惜他，不可怜悯他，也不可袒护他。你务必杀他；你先下手，然后众百姓才下手，把他处死。要用石头打死他，因为他想引诱你离开那领你出埃及地为奴之家的耶和华—你的上帝。全以色列都要听见而害怕，不敢在你中间再行这样的恶事了。“若你听见人说，在耶和华—你上帝所赐给你居住的城镇中的一座，有些无赖之徒从你中间出来，引诱本城的居民，说：‘我们去事奉别神吧。’那是你们不认识的，你就要调查，探听，细心询问。看哪，是真的，确实有这可憎的事在你中间发生，你务必用刀杀那城里的居民，把城里所有的，连牲畜都用刀灭尽。

惟恐你们中间有人，或男或女，或宗族或支派，今日心里偏离耶和华—我们的上帝，去事奉那些国的神明，又怕你们中间有根长出苦菜和茵陈来。

“在你中间，在耶和华—你上帝所赐你的各城中，任何一座城里，若有男人或女人做了耶和华—你上帝眼中看为恶的事，违背了他的约，去事奉别神，敬拜它们，或拜太阳，或拜月亮，或拜天上的万象，是我不曾吩咐的。有人告诉你，你也听见了，就要细心探听。看哪，是真的，确实有这可憎的事在以色列中发生，你就要将行这恶事的男人或女人拉到城门外，用石头把这男人或女人处死。

然而，我蒙上帝的帮助，直到今日还站立得稳，向尊贵的和卑微的作见证。我所讲的，并不外乎众先知和摩西所说将来必成的事，

我又看见死了的人，无论大小，都站在宝座前。案卷都展开了，并另有一卷展开，就是生命册。死了的人都凭着这些案卷所记载的，照他们所行的受审判。

他待王子不徇情面，也不看重富足的过于贫寒的，因为他们都是他手所造的。

到了半夜，耶和华把埃及地所有头生的，就是从坐宝座的法老，到关在牢里的人的长子，以及一切头生的牲畜，尽都杀了。

大的小的都在那里，奴仆脱离主人得自由。

他们击打门外的人，无论老少，都眼睛迷糊，找门找得很烦躁。

地上的君王、臣宰、将军、富户、壮士，和一切为奴的、自主的，都藏在山洞和岩石穴里，
