These were born to David in Hebron.

Sixty queens there may be, and eighty concubines, and virgins beyond number;but my dove, my perfect one, is unique, the only daughter of her mother, the favorite of the one who bore her. The young women saw her and called her blessed; the queens and concubines praised her.

He had seven hundred wives of royal birth and three hundred concubines, and his wives led him astray.

David reigned in Jerusalem thirty- three years,and these were the children born to him there: Shammua, Shobab, Nathan and Solomon. These four were by Bathsheba daughter of Ammiel.There were also Ibhar, Elishua, Eliphelet,Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia,Elishama, Eliada and Eliphelet— nine in all.All these were the sons of David, besides his sons by his concubines. And Tamar was their sister.

He acted wisely, dispersing some of his sons throughout the districts of Judah and Benjamin, and to all the fortified cities. He gave them abundant provisions and took many wives for them.

He had seventy sons of his own, for he had many wives.
