你若行在我面前，效法你父大衛所行的，遵行我一切所吩咐你的，謹守我的律例典章，我就必堅固你國度的王位，正如我與你父大衛所立的約，說：『你的子孫必不斷有人治理以色列。』「倘若你們轉去，離棄我擺在你們面前的律例誡命，去事奉別神，敬拜它們，

又遵照摩西的吩咐，在安息日、初一，以及每年在除酵節、七七節、住棚節三個節期，獻每日所當獻上的祭。所羅門照着他父親大衛所定的條例，分派祭司的班次，擔任他們的職務，又分派利未人的任務，負責頌讚，並在祭司面前做每日當做的事，又派門口的守衛按着班次看守各門，因為神人大衛是這樣吩咐的。王對眾祭司和利未人的吩咐，無論是管理庫房或任何事務，他們都不違背。所羅門所有的工作都準備就緒，從立耶和華殿的根基直到完工的日子。耶和華的殿就完成了。
