If any man teacheth a different doctrine, and consenteth not to sound words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;

若有人傳異教，不服從我們主耶穌基督純正的話與那合乎敬虔的道理，

若有人傳別的教義，不符合我們主耶穌基督純正的話語與合乎敬虔的教導，

若有人傳別的教義，不符合我們主耶穌基督純正的話語與合乎敬虔的教導，

如果有人傳的教義不符合我們主耶穌基督純正的道和敬虔的教導，

如果有人傳別的教義，不接受我們的主耶穌基督純正的話語，和那敬虔的道理，

若有人傳別的教義，不歸順健全之道、我們主耶穌基督之道、跟那合乎敬虔教義之道，

如果有人傳講別的教義，不符合我們主耶穌基督的健全話語以及那合乎敬神的教導，

若有傳異教、不從我主耶穌基督之正言、不依敬虔之教者、

有人傳異教、背吾主耶穌基督正理棄敬虔之至道、

若有人施教、與此不同、不從我主耶穌基督之正言、及虔敬之訓、

若有人宣傳異端、而不服膺吾主耶穌基督之至言妙理、以及奉事天主之正道、

If anyone teaches otherwise and does not agree to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and to godly teaching,

Suppose someone teaches something different than I have taught. Suppose that person doesn’t agree with the true teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ. Suppose they don’t agree with godly teaching.

If anyone teaches a different doctrine and does not agree with the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ and the teaching that accords with godliness,

Some people may contradict our teaching, but these are the wholesome teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. These teachings promote a godly life.

If anyone teaches false doctrine and does not agree with the sound teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ and with the teaching that promotes godliness,

If anyone advocates a different doctrine and does not agree with sound words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ, and with the doctrine conforming to godliness,

If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness,

If anyone teaches other doctrine and does not agree with the sound teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ and with the teaching that promotes godliness,

If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words,[ even] the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;

If someone spreads false teachings and does not agree with sound words( that is, those of our Lord Jesus Christ) and with the teaching that accords with godliness,

If anyone teaches a different doctrine, and doesn’t consent to sound words, the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness,

As I exhorted thee to tarry at Ephesus, when I was going into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge certain men not to teach a different doctrine,

for fornicators, for abusers of themselves with men, for menstealers, for liars, for false swearers, and if there be any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine;

Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect, and the knowledge of the truth which is according to godliness,

Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them that are causing the divisions and occasions of stumbling, contrary to the doctrine which ye learned: and turn away from them.

holding to the faithful word which is according to the teaching, that he may be able both to exhort in the sound doctrine, and to convict the gainsayers.

teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.

from which things some having swerved have turned aside unto vain talking;

but refuse profane and old wives’ fables. And exercise thyself unto godliness:for bodily exercise is profitable for a little; but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life which now is, and of that which is to come.

I marvel that ye are so quickly removing from him that called you in the grace of Christ unto a different gospel;which is not another gospel: only there are some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

But speak thou the things which befit the sound doctrine:that aged men be temperate, grave, sober- minded, sound in faith, in love, in patience:

For the time will come when they will not endure the sound doctrine; but, having itching ears, will heap to themselves teachers after their own lusts;

For the grace of God hath appeared, bringing salvation to all men,instructing us, to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly and righteously and godly in this present world;looking for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a people for his own possession, zealous of good works.

Hold the pattern of sound words which thou hast heard from me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

Faithful is the saying, and concerning these things I desire that thou affirm confidently, to the end that they who have believed God may be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men:

Therefore he that rejecteth, rejecteth not man, but God, who giveth his Holy Spirit unto you.

seeing that his divine power hath granted unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that called us by his own glory and virtue;whereby he hath granted unto us his precious and exceeding great promises; that through these ye may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world by lust.Yea, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence, in your faith supply virtue; and in your virtue knowledge;and in your knowledge self- control; and in your self- control patience; and in your patience godliness;and in your godliness brotherly kindness; and in your brotherly kindness love.

Finally then, brethren, we beseech and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that, as ye received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, even as ye do walk,— that ye abound more and more.For ye know what charge we gave you through the Lord Jesus.

A gentle tongue is a tree of life; But perverseness therein is a breaking of the spirit.
