In the sight of God, who gives life to everything, and of Christ Jesus, who while testifying before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, I charge you

God gives life to everything. Christ Jesus told the truth when he was a witness in front of Pontius Pilate. In the sight of God and Christ, I give you a command.

I charge you in the presence of God, who gives life to all things, and of Christ Jesus, who in his testimony before Pontius Pilate made the good confession,

耶穌站在總督面前受審。總督問：「你是猶太人的王嗎？」耶穌說：「如你所言。」

我在上帝和主耶穌基督以及蒙揀選的眾天使面前吩咐你：要遵行這些話，不要有成見，不要偏心；

耶穌答道：「我的國不屬於這個世界，如果我的國屬於這個世界，我的臣僕早就起來爭戰了，我也不會被交在猶太人的手裡。但我的國不屬於這個世界。」於是彼拉多對祂說：「那麼，你是王嗎？」耶穌說：「你說我是王，我正是為此而生，也為此來到世上為真理做見證，屬於真理的人都聽從我的話。」

「你要寫信告訴老底嘉教會的天使，那位實實在在、誠信無偽的見證人，就是上帝所造萬物的元首說，

父如何使死人復活、賜生命給他們，子也照樣想賜生命給誰，就賜給誰。

要為真道打美好的仗，要持定永生。你是為永生蒙召的，並在許多見證人面前做過美好的見證。

「『你們要知道，唯有我是上帝；除我之外，別無他神。我掌管生死，我打傷、我醫治；無人能逃出我的掌心。

祂又對我說：「一切都成了！我是阿拉法，我是俄梅加；我是開始，我是終結。我要將生命泉的水白白賜給口渴的人。

上帝只有一位，在上帝和人類之間只有一位中保，就是降世為人的基督耶穌。

耶穌回答說：「除非從上面賜下權柄給你，否則你無權處置我。因此，把我交給你的那個人罪更大。」

天使讓我看城內街道當中一道流淌著生命水的河，清澈如水晶，從上帝和羔羊的寶座那裡流出。

我還與你們在一起的時候，將這些事情都告訴了你們。但護慰者，就是父為我的名而差來的聖靈，將教導你們一切的事，並使你們想起我對你們說的一切話。

也不需要人的侍奉，因為祂一無所缺。祂將生命、氣息和萬物賜給世人。

耶穌說：「我就是道路、真理、生命，若不藉著我，沒有人能到父那裡。

耶和華掌管生死，祂使人進入墳墓，也使人起死回生。

因為正如父自己是生命的源頭，祂也同樣讓子作生命的源頭，
