為嫠八十有四年、身不離殿、禁食祈禱、日夜事主、

嫠之真為嫠者敬之、

我欲爾無所慮、無妻者慮主之事、如何悅主、

古昔聖女、上帝是望、亦以是自飾、服於其夫、

若信婦家有嫠、當自濟之、勿累乎會、俾得濟真為嫠者、○

耶穌又設喻、語眾當恆祈不倦、

邑門悲哀號咷、錫安女寂寞、而坐於地焉、

況上帝選民晝夜呼籲、雖久忍之、豈不伸其冤乎、

不妊不產者歟、爾其謳歌、未劬勞者歟、爾其歌詠歡呼、蓋獨處者較有夫者、其子尤多也、

以諸祈禱籲懇、感於聖神而恆求、於此儆醒不倦、為諸聖徒祈、

我十二支、日夜殷勤崇事、亦望獲此許耳、王乎、我為此望、為猶太人所訟、

必覆爾以其羽、爾託庇其翼下、彼之誠實、乃盾乃干兮、

願耶和華報爾所為、爾來託庇於以色列上帝耶和華翼下、願其大賚爾、

婦與處女亦有別、無夫者慮主之事、欲身與靈皆聖、有夫者慮世之事、如何悅夫、

即我偕爾、因爾我同信、互相得慰也、

自創世以來、上帝之永能神性、即所莫見者、已明見矣、乃由所造之物而知之、致人末由推諉、顧彼既知上帝、而不以上帝榮之、亦不謝之、乃思議虛妄、心蠢而昧、

我儕由彼受恩、及使徒職、使萬邦緣其名因信而服、
