原来经上说：“牛踹谷的时候，不可笼住它的嘴。”又说：“工人配得自己的酬报。”

For Scripture says,“ Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain,” and“ The worker deserves his wages.”

Scripture says,“ Do not stop an ox from eating while it helps separate the grain from the straw.”( Deuteronomy 25:4) Scripture also says,“ Workers are worthy of their pay.”( Luke 10:7)

For the Scripture says,“ You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain,” and,“ The laborer deserves his wages.”

曾经有谁当兵自备粮饷呢？有谁栽种葡萄园不吃园中的果子呢？有谁牧养羊群不喝羊群的奶呢？我说这些话，难道是按人的意思吗？律法不也是说这些话吗？事实上，摩西的律法上记着：“牛踹谷的时候，不可笼住它的嘴。”难道神顾念的是牛吗？还是特别为我们说的呢？这样写下来，当然是为我们的缘故！因为耕田的应该怀着希望去耕田，打场的应该怀着一同分享粮食的希望去打场。

照样，主也吩咐那些传福音的人，靠福音生活。

你们当住在那一家，吃喝他们所供给的，因为工人配得自己的酬报。不要从这家搬到那家。

在路上不要带行囊，不要带两件衣服，也不要带鞋子和手杖，因为工人配得自己的食物。

或者，你们以为经上所说的“神使圣灵住在我们里面，他爱我们到嫉妒的地步”是空话吗？

因为经上说：“所有信靠他的人将不至于蒙羞。”

既然经文预先看见神要使外邦人因信称义，就预先把福音传给了亚伯拉罕，说：“万国都要藉着你蒙祝福。”

经上到底是怎么说的呢？“亚伯拉罕信神，这就被算为他的义。”

原来经上有话对法老说：“我兴起你，正是为此：好让我藉着你来显出我的大能，使我的名传遍天下。”

神并没有弃绝自己预先所知道的子民。难道你们不知道那有关以利亚的经文怎么说吗？他怎样向神抱怨以色列人呢？
