understanding this, that the law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who strike their fathers and mothers, for murderers,

For the law was not intended for people who do what is right. It is for people who are lawless and rebellious, who are ungodly and sinful, who consider nothing sacred and defile what is holy, who kill their father or mother or commit other murders.

We know that the law is not meant for a righteous person, but for the lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinful, for the unholy and irreverent, for those who kill their fathers and mothers, for murderers,

realizing the fact that law is not made for a righteous person but for those who are lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and worldly, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers,

“如果连义人都好不容易得救，那么，不敬神的人和罪人将会怎么样呢？”

律法出现，为要使过犯增多；可是，罪在哪里增多，恩典就在哪里格外增多。

那么，为什么要有律法呢？律法是为了过犯的缘故被加上的，直到那蒙应许的后裔来临；律法是藉着天使，通过中保的手所规定的。

凡是本于律法上行为的人，都在诅咒之下，因为经上记着：“任何人不持守、不遵行律法书上所记载的一切，都是被诅咒的。”所以，明显地没有人能藉着律法在神面前被称为义，因为经上说：“义人将因信而活。”律法不是本于信，但是“遵行这些事的人，将因此而活。”基督替我们成了诅咒，从律法的诅咒中救赎了我们，因为经上记着：“凡是被挂在木头上的，都是被诅咒的。”这是为了让亚伯拉罕所蒙的祝福，能在基督耶稣里临到外邦人，好使我们能藉着信领受所应许的圣灵。

温柔、自制。这样的事，没有律法反对。

他们声称认识神，却在行为上否认他。他们是可憎恶的、悖逆的，在任何美善的工作上都经不起考验。

其实，我们从前也是无知、悖逆、被迷惑的，做各种欲望和享乐的奴仆，活在恶毒和嫉妒中，是可憎恶的，又彼此相恨。

诽谤人、憎恨神、侮慢人、骄傲、自夸、制造恶行、悖逆父母、

诅咒自己父母的，他的灯将在极深的黑暗中熄灭。

嘲笑父亲，藐视而不顺从母亲的，他的眼睛将被溪谷的乌鸦挖出来，被鹰雏吃掉。

背负杀人流血之罪的，会一直逃亡到阴坑；谁也不要扶持他！

这样，罪就不能辖制你们了，因为你们不在律法之下，而在恩典之下。

就是从前在挪亚建造方舟的那些日子里，在神耐心等待的时候那些不肯信从的灵魂。当时进入方舟，藉着水获救的人很少，只有八个人。

原来，赐给亚伯拉罕和他后裔继承世界的应许，不是藉着律法，而是藉着因信而得的义。

那些犬类、行邪术的、淫乱的、杀人的、拜偶像的，以及所有爱虚假、行虚假的人，都在外面。

这世代诅咒自己的父亲，也不祝福自己的母亲。

又免得有淫乱的，或像以扫那样不敬神的。以扫为了一点食物，就把自己长子的名份卖了；

然后这不法之人要被显露出来。主耶稣要以自己口中的气杀掉他，藉着自己来临的显现除去他。

“兄弟将要把兄弟出卖，置于死地；父亲对孩子也会这样。儿女会起来与父母作对，并且害死他们。

嫉妒、凶杀、醉酒、荒宴以及类似这样的事。对这些事，我现在要预先告诉你们，就像我以前告诉过你们的那样：行这些事的人不会继承神的国。

抢夺自己父母却说“没犯罪”的，这人是毁灭者的同伴。

这样，对你们信的人来说，他是尊贵的；但是对那些不信的人来说，却是“工匠所弃绝的石头，它已经成了房角的头块石头。”

因着信，妓女瑞荷在平安中接纳了侦察的人，没有和那些不肯信从的人一同灭亡。

至于你们的生命之血，我必为你们追讨：我要向野兽追讨，我也要向人，甚至向各人的兄弟追讨人命。那杀人流血的，他必被杀流血，因为神是按照自己的形像造人的。

但那些胆怯的、不信的、可憎的、杀人的、淫乱的、行邪术的、拜偶像的，和所有说谎的人，他们的份就在燃烧着烈火和硫磺的湖里。这是第二次的死亡。”
