至於兄弟友愛之道、當無需吾之喋喋。爾等親沐天主薰陶、固知彼此相愛。

Now about your love for one another we do not need to write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love each other.

Now concerning brotherly love you have no need for anyone to write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love one another,

Now as to the love of the brothers and sisters, you have no need for anyone to write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another;

But concerning love of the brethren ye have no need that one write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another;

But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.

Now on the topic of brotherly love you have no need for anyone to write you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another.

But concerning brotherly love, you have no need that one write to you. For you yourselves are taught by God to love one another,

This is the message you have heard from the beginning: We should love one another.

Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.

And this is his commandment: We must believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as he commanded us.

So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”

Keep on loving each other as brothers and sisters.

Now concerning how and when all this will happen, dear brothers and sisters, we don’t really need to write you.

This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you.There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.You are my friends if you do what I command.I no longer call you slaves, because a master doesn’t confide in his slaves. Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me.You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name.This is my command: Love each other.

Anyone who loves a fellow believer is living in the light and does not cause others to stumble.

For no one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them to me, and at the last day I will raise them up.As it is written in the Scriptures,‘ They will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from him comes to me.

If we love our brothers and sisters who are believers, it proves that we have passed from death to life. But a person who has no love is still dead.Anyone who hates another brother or sister is really a murderer at heart. And you know that murderers don’t have eternal life within them.We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters.If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion— how can God’s love be in that person?Dear children, let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions.Our actions will show that we belong to the truth, so we will be confident when we stand before God.

How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony!

But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative— that is, the Holy Spirit— he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.

Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children.Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.

“ This is the new covenant I will make with my people on that day, says the Lord: I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.”

I will be their God, and they will be my people.And they will not need to teach their neighbors, nor will they need to teach their relatives, saying,‘ You should know the Lord.’ For everyone, from the least to the greatest, will know me already.

Anyone who eats it on the third day will be punished for defiling what is holy to the Lord and will be cut off from the community.

Yet you have forgotten the Lord, your Creator, the one who stretched out the sky like a canopy and laid the foundations of the earth. Will you remain in constant dread of human oppressors? Will you continue to fear the anger of your enemies? Where is their fury and anger now? It is gone!

and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love for everyone.

And they will not need to teach their neighbors, nor will they need to teach their relatives, saying,‘ You should know the Lord.’ For everyone, from the least to the greatest, will know me already,” says the Lord.“ And I will forgive their wickedness, and I will never again remember their sins.”

Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins.

All the believers were united in heart and mind. And they felt that what they owned was not their own, so they shared everything they had.

A second is equally important:‘ Love your neighbor as yourself.’

Finally, all of you should be of one mind. Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude.

Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God.But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him.This is real love— not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other.No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us.And God has given us his Spirit as proof that we live in him and he in us.Furthermore, we have seen with our own eyes and now testify that the Father sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.All who declare that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God.We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.
