Samuel also said to Saul,“ The Lord sent me to anoint you king over His people, over Israel. Now therefore, heed the voice of the words of the Lord.

So when Samuel saw Saul, the Lord said to him,“ There he is, the man of whom I spoke to you. This one shall reign over My people.”

And He sent out two of His disciples and said to them,“ Go into the city, and a man will meet you carrying a pitcher of water; follow him.Wherever he goes in, say to the master of the house,‘ The Teacher says,“ Where is the guest room in which I may eat the Passover with My disciples?”’Then he will show you a large upper room, furnished and prepared; there make ready for us.”So His disciples went out, and came into the city, and found it just as He had said to them; and they prepared the Passover.

So Jonathan said to him,“ By no means! You shall not die! Indeed, my father will do nothing either great or small without first telling me. And why should my father hide this thing from me? It is not so!”

Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.

Then He opens the ears of men, And seals their instruction.

The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant.

For there stood by me this night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve,

and He said to them,“ Go into the village opposite you; and as soon as you have entered it you will find a colt tied, on which no one has sat. Loose it and bring it.And if anyone says to you,‘ Why are you doing this?’ say,‘ The Lord has need of it,’ and immediately he will send it here.”So they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door outside on the street, and they loosed it.

For You, O Lord of hosts, God of Israel, have revealed this to Your servant, saying,‘ I will build you a house.’ Therefore Your servant has found it in his heart to pray this prayer to You.
