The women answered,“ Yes, he is ahead of you. Hurry, he just now came to the city, because there’s a sacrifice for the people at the high place today.

They replied,“ Yes, straight ahead! But hurry now, for he came to the town today, and the people are making a sacrifice at the high place.

又在山上獻祭，請眾弟兄吃飯。飯後，他們一同在山上過夜。

撒母耳說：「我怎麼可以去呢？掃羅知道了，一定會殺掉我。」耶和華說：「你帶一頭牛犢去，就說，『我是來向耶和華獻祭的。』

此後，你會去上帝的山，那裡有非利士人的駐軍。你一進城，就會遇見一群先知從邱壇下來，前面有人鼓瑟、敲鼓、吹笛、彈琴，先知們會說預言。

那時候，用來尊崇耶和華之名的殿還沒有建成，以色列人仍然在邱壇獻祭。所羅門愛耶和華，遵行他父親大衛的律例，只是仍然在邱壇獻祭燒香。有一次，所羅門王上基遍獻了一千頭祭牲作燔祭，因為那裡有最重要的邱壇。

把你們的燔祭及其他祭物、十一奉獻、舉祭、還願祭、自願獻的祭和頭生的牛羊帶到那裡。你們和家人要在那裡，在你們的上帝耶和華面前吃喝；要為你們所做的一切蒙祂賜福而歡喜快樂。

你們要把舊酵除掉，好成為真正無酵的新麵團，因為我們逾越節的羔羊——基督已經被獻為祭了。所以，我們不可帶著歹毒邪惡的舊酵守這逾越節，而要用真誠純潔的無酵餅。

之後，他才回到拉瑪自己的家中，也在那裡審理以色列人的案件，並為耶和華築了一座祭壇。

「在朔日，要給耶和華獻燔祭——兩頭公牛犢、一隻公綿羊和七隻一歲的公羊羔，都要毫無殘疾。同時要獻上調了油的細麵粉作素祭，每頭公牛需獻三公斤素祭，每隻公綿羊需獻兩公斤素祭，每隻公羊羔需獻一公斤素祭。這馨香的燔祭是獻給耶和華的火祭。獻燔祭時要同時獻上奠祭，每頭公牛需獻二升奠酒，每隻公綿羊需獻一點二升奠酒，每隻羊羔需獻一升奠酒。這是朔日要獻的燔祭，一年之中月月如此。除了日常的燔祭和奠祭以外，還要把一隻公山羊獻給耶和華作贖罪祭。

並派祭司撒督及其他祭司在基遍高地的耶和華的聖幕前供職，
