随后有闪电、声音和雷鸣，又发生了大地震，自从地上有人以来，没有发生过如此大、如此厉害的地震。那大城裂为三个部分，列国的城市也都倒塌了。神也想起大巴比伦，要把自己烈怒之酒的杯子递给她。所有的海岛都逃避了，山岭也不见了。又有重约四十公斤的大冰雹，从天上落在人身上；由于这冰雹的灾害，人们就亵渎了神，因为这灾害极其厉害。
