你们为什么心里刚硬，像埃及人和法老那样心里刚硬呢？当神折辱他们的时候，他们不是放走了以色列人吗？以色列人不是离开了吗？

你們的心為甚麼固執、像埃及人和法老那樣固執呢？上帝作弄了埃及人，埃及人不是還要把以色列人放走麼？

你們為什麼心裡剛硬，像埃及人和法老那樣心裡剛硬呢？當神折辱他們的時候，他們不是放走了以色列人嗎？以色列人不是離開了嗎？

何剛愎乃心、如埃及人與法老之剛愎乎、上帝行奇事於其間、彼豈非釋其民、使之往乎、

何剛愎乃心、效埃及人與法老所為乎。彼不釋以色列族、待降異災而後可。

Why do you harden your hearts as the Egyptians and Pharaoh did? When Israel’s god dealt harshly with them, did they not send the Israelites out so they could go on their way?

Why are you stubborn, as Pharaoh and the people of Egypt were? Israel’s god was very hard on them. Only then did they send the Israelites out. Only then did they let them go on their way.

Don’t be stubborn and rebellious as Pharaoh and the Egyptians were. By the time God was finished with them, they were eager to let Israel go.

I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians so that they will go in after them. And I will gain glory through Pharaoh and all his army, through his chariots and his horsemen. (niv)

During the night Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said,“ Up! Leave my people, you and the Israelites! Go, worship the Lord as you have requested.Take your flocks and herds, as you have said, and go. And also bless me.”The Egyptians urged the people to hurry and leave the country.“ For otherwise,” they said,“ we will all die!” (niv)
