“ Command the sons of Israel that they bring to you clear oil from beaten olives for the light, to make a lamp burn continually.Outside the veil of the testimony in the tent of meeting, Aaron shall keep it in order from evening to morning before the Lord continually; it shall be a permanent statute throughout your generations.He shall keep the lamps in order on the pure gold lampstand before the Lord continually.

“ And you shall command the sons of Israel that they bring you clear oil of beaten olives for the light, to make a lamp burn continually.In the tent of meeting, outside the veil which is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall keep it in order from evening to morning before the Lord; it shall be a permanent statute throughout their generations for the sons of Israel.

But as for me, by Your abundant graciousness I will enter Your house, At Your holy temple I will bow in reverence for You.

One thing I have asked from the Lord, that I shall seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord And to meditate in His temple.

The voice of the Lord makes the deer give birth And strips the forests bare; And in His temple everything says,“ Glory!”

Her rival, moreover, would provoke her bitterly to irritate her, because the Lord had closed her womb.

Aaron shall burn fragrant incense on it; he shall burn it every morning when he trims the lamps.And when Aaron sets up the lamps at twilight, he shall burn incense. There shall be perpetual incense before the Lord throughout your generations.

Every morning and evening they burn to the Lord burnt offerings and fragrant incense, and the showbread is set on the clean table, and the golden lampstand with its lamps is ready to light every evening; for we perform our duty to the Lord our God, but you have abandoned Him.
