所以我向以利家起誓說：『以利家的罪孽，雖獻祭奉禮物，永不能得贖去。』」

所以我向以利家起誓：『以利家的罪孽，就是獻祭物和供物，也永不得贖。』」

所以，我向以利家起誓說，『靠祭物或禮物絕不能贖去以利家的罪惡。』」

所以我向以利家起了誓：‘以利家的罪孽永遠不能用祭物或供物來買贖。’”

所以我向以利家起誓說：以利家的罪孽就使用肉祭和供物、也永遠不能得赦除。』

因此我向以利家起了誓：『以利家的罪孽是永遠不能用祭物或供物來贖清的。』」

故我對以利家誓曰、祭品禮物、永不能贖其罪、

加以誓言、以利家之咎、雖獻祭品禮物、永不得贖。

我又為以利家誓之、以利家之罪、雖獻祭品禮物、永不得赦、赦或作贖

Therefore I swore to the house of Eli,‘ The guilt of Eli’s house will never be atoned for by sacrifice or offering.’”

So I made a promise to the family of Eli. I said,‘ The sins of Eli’s family will never be paid for by bringing sacrifices or offerings.’ ”

Therefore I swear to the house of Eli that the iniquity of Eli’s house shall not be atoned for by sacrifice or offering forever.”

So I have vowed that the sins of Eli and his sons will never be forgiven by sacrifices or offerings.”

Therefore, I have sworn to Eli’s family: The iniquity of Eli’s family will never be wiped out by either sacrifice or offering.”

Therefore I have sworn to the house of Eli that the wrongdoing of Eli’s house shall never be atoned for by sacrifice or offering.”

And therefore I have sworn to the house of Eli that the iniquity of Eli’s house shall not be atoned for by sacrifice or offering forever.”

And therefore I have sworn unto the house of Eli, that the iniquity of Eli’s house shall not be expiated with sacrifice nor offering for ever.

Therefore, I have sworn to Eli’s family: The iniquity of Eli’s family will never be wiped out by either sacrifice or offering.”

And therefore I have sworn unto the house of Eli, that the iniquity of Eli’s house shall not be purged with sacrifice nor offering for ever.

Therefore I swore an oath to the house of Eli,‘ The sin of the house of Eli can never be forgiven by sacrifice or by grain offering.’”

Therefore I have sworn to the house of Eli that the iniquity of Eli’s house shall not be removed with sacrifice or offering forever.”

The Lord Almighty has revealed this in my hearing:“ Till your dying day this sin will not be atoned for,” says the Lord, the Lord Almighty. (niv)

If one person sins against another, God may mediate for the offender; but if anyone sins against the Lord, who will intercede for them?” His sons, however, did not listen to their father’s rebuke, for it was the Lord’s will to put them to death. (niv)

“‘ You must keep the Israelites separate from things that make them unclean, so they will not die in their uncleanness for defiling my dwelling place, which is among them.’” (niv)

“ So do not pray for this people nor offer any plea or petition for them; do not plead with me, for I will not listen to you. (niv)

You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it; you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings. (niv)

Then the Lord said to me:“ Even if Moses and Samuel were to stand before me, my heart would not go out to this people. Send them away from my presence! Let them go! (niv)

“‘ But anyone who sins defiantly, whether native- born or foreigner, blasphemes the Lord and must be cut off from the people of Israel.Because they have despised the Lord’s word and broken his commands, they must surely be cut off; their guilt remains on them.’” (niv)

It is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said:“ Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me;with burnt offerings and sin offerings you were not pleased.Then I said,‘ Here I am— it is written about me in the scroll— I have come to do your will, my God.’”First he said,“ Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not desire, nor were you pleased with them”— though they were offered in accordance with the law.Then he said,“ Here I am, I have come to do your will.” He sets aside the first to establish the second.And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. (niv)

If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left,but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?For we know him who said,“ It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” and again,“ The Lord will judge his people.”It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. (niv)

“‘ Now your impurity is lewdness. Because I tried to cleanse you but you would not be cleansed from your impurity, you will not be clean again until my wrath against you has subsided. (niv)
