When Achish asked,“ Where did you go raiding today?” David would say,“ Against the Negev of Judah” or“ Against the Negev of Jerahmeel” or“ Against the Negev of the Kenites.”

Achish would ask,“ Who did you attack today?” David would answer,“ The people who live in the Negev Desert of Judah.” Or he would answer,“ The people in the Negev Desert of Jerahmeel.” Or he would answer,“ The people in the Negev Desert of the Kenites.”

When Achish asked,“ Where have you made a raid today?” David would say,“ Against the Negeb of Judah,” or,“ Against the Negeb of the Jerahmeelites,” or,“ Against the Negeb of the Kenites.”

“ Where did you make your raid today?” Achish would ask. And David would reply,“ Against the south of Judah, the Jerahmeelites, and the Kenites.”

这时，扫罗的信使前来禀报，说非利士人前来犯境，请王速回。

以撒又问：“你真是我的儿子以扫吗？”雅各回答说：“是。”

我厌恶虚假，喜爱你的律法。

押沙龙的部下来到妇人家查问约拿单和亚希玛斯的下落，妇人说他们已经过河了。押沙龙的部下就去搜索，结果一无所获，就返回耶路撒冷。

“基尼人希百的妻子雅亿是妇人中最有福的，是住帐篷的妇人中最有福的。

巴兰又观看基尼人，并以诗歌预言说：“虽然你的居所坚固，你的巢筑在峭壁，

但喇合已经把二人藏起来了，她答道：“不错，他们来过，可是我不知他们是从哪里来的。天黑要关闭城门的时候，他们就离开了，我不知道他们去了哪里。你们快去追吧，还可以追得上。”其实喇合已经把二人带到屋顶上，藏在那里的麻秆堆里了。

他对基尼人说：“你们离开亚玛力人吧，免得我把你们也一起消灭，因为在以色列人离开埃及的时候，你们曾善待他们。”于是，基尼人离开了亚玛力人。

大卫答道：“王差遣我来办一件事，他吩咐我不可把事情泄露给任何人。我已经吩咐部下在某处跟我会合。

惧怕人的必自陷网罗，信靠耶和华的必安稳。

求你使我远离恶道，开恩将你的律法教导我。

所以不要再说谎，大家都要彼此说真话，因为我们都是一个身体的肢体。
