宥我罪戾、我知耶和華將祐我主、克昌厥後、我主緣耶和華戰時、必拯爾於患難。

Please forgive the trespass of your servant. For the Lord will certainly make my lord a sure house, because my lord is fighting the battles of the Lord, and evil shall not be found in you so long as you live.

Please forgive me if I have offended you in any way. The Lord will surely reward you with a lasting dynasty, for you are fighting the Lord’s battles. And you have not done wrong throughout your entire life.

扫罗对大卫说：“我要把大女儿米拉嫁给你，但你要英勇作战，效忠于我，为耶和华争战。”扫罗心里想：“我不要亲自动手，我要借非利士人的手杀他。”

我父请看，你的这块袍子在我手中。我割下了你的袍角，没有杀你，现在你应该明白我并未图谋背叛你。我没有对不起你，你却要置我于死地。

我必使你的王位在以色列永远稳固，正如我曾向你父亲大卫应许要使他的王朝永不中断。

你的家和你的国必在我面前永远坚立，你的王位必永远稳固。’”

我的上帝啊，因为你曾启示仆人，说要为仆人建立王朝，仆人才敢这样向你祈求。

以色列的上帝——万军之耶和华啊，因为你曾启示仆人，说你要使我家世代为王，仆人才有勇气这样向你祷告。

我要使他的后裔永无穷尽，让他的王位与天同存。

这里所有的人都必知道耶和华拯救人不靠刀枪，因为祂掌管战争的胜负。祂必把你们交在我们手中。”

扫罗对大卫说：“你比我公义，因为你善待我，我却恶待你。

撒母耳对他说：“耶和华今天已经从你身上拿走了以色列国的王位，赐给了一个比你好的人。

同样，你们的光也应当照在人面前，好让他们看见你们的好行为，便赞美你们天上的父。

除了赫人乌利亚事件以外，大卫一生都做耶和华视为正的事，没有违背耶和华的任何命令。

百夫长见此情形，便赞美上帝，说：“这人的确是个义人。”

我们是罪有应得，但这个人没有犯过罪。”

行为正直、遵行耶和华律法的人有福了！遵守祂的法度、全心寻求祂的人有福了！他们不做不义的事，只照祂的旨意而行。

她俯伏在大卫脚前说：“我主啊，我愿意承担一切的罪过，请听婢女说。

从前扫罗做王的时候，率领以色列人出征打仗的是你，耶和华也曾应许让你做祂以色列子民的牧者和首领。”

他对部下说：“我不该做这样的事，我主是耶和华所膏立的王，我绝不出手伤害他，因为他是耶和华所膏立的。”大卫用这些话拦住他的部下，不让他们杀扫罗。扫罗起来离开山洞走了，

最后，你们要靠着主和祂的大能大力做刚强的人，要穿戴上帝所赐的全副军装，以便能够抵挡魔鬼的阴谋。

他说：“全体犹大人、耶路撒冷的居民和约沙法王啊，你们要留心听！耶和华对你们如此说，‘你们不要因敌军强大而恐惧惊慌，因为战争的胜败不在乎你们，而在乎上帝。
