又叫兩個無賴坐在拿伯對面，作證告他說：『你詛咒了上帝和王。』然後把他拉出去用石頭打死。」

約拿單說：「絕無此事！我若確實知道我父親決意害你，怎麼會不告訴你呢？」

我主不必理會拿八這性情兇暴的人，他就像他的名字一樣；他名叫拿八，為人也真是愚頑。至於我，你的使女並沒有看見我主所派來的僕人。

但無賴全都像被丟棄的荊棘；它們不能用手去拿；碰它們的人必須用鐵器和槍桿，它們必在那裏被火燒盡。」

先知與王說話的時候，王對他說：「難道我們立你作王的謀士嗎？你住口吧！為何要挨打呢？」先知就止住了，卻說：「我知道上帝已定意要消滅你，因為你行這事，不聽從我的勸戒。」

約拿單回答父親掃羅說：「他為甚麼該死呢？他做了甚麼呢？」掃羅向約拿單擲槍要刺他，約拿單就知道他父親決意要殺死大衛。

王大怒，起來離開酒席往御花園去了。哈曼見王定意要加罪於他，就留下來求以斯帖王后救他的命。

他們心裏歡樂的時候，看哪，城中的無賴圍住房子，連連叩門，對老人，這家的主人說：「把那進你家的人帶出來，我們要與他交合。」

有些無賴的歹徒聚集跟從他，逞強攻擊所羅門的兒子羅波安；那時羅波安還年輕，心志軟弱，不能抵擋他們。

他的僕人近前來，對他說：「我父啊，先知若吩咐你做一件大事，你豈不做嗎？何況是吩咐你去沐浴，得潔淨呢？」於是乃縵下去，照着神人的話，在約旦河裏浸了七次。他的肉復原，好像小孩的肉，他就潔淨了。

以利的兩個兒子是無賴，不認識耶和華。

有兩個無賴來，坐在拿伯對面。無賴當着百姓作證告他說：「拿伯詛咒上帝和王了！」眾人就把他拉到城外，用石頭打他，他就死了。
