脫離那掠劫我、的惡人，那以貪慾圍攻我、的仇敵。

於是米甲將大衛從窗戶裏縋下去、讓他走；大衛就逃跑躲避了。

他們走了之後，二人從井裏上來，去告訴大衛王，對大衛說：『你們要起來，趕快逿過水，因為亞希多弗這樣這樣地設計謀要害你們。』於是大衛和跟隨的眾人都起來、過約但河；到了天亮，連一個人也沒有邋下而不過約但河的。

有許多公牛圍繞着我；有巴珊的雄壯公牛困住我。

現在他們圍困了我的步伐；他們瞪着眼、要把我推倒於地上。

永恆主啊，援救我脫離壞人；守護我脫離強暴的人。他們心中圖謀壞事，終日不斷地鼓起戰爭。他們使舌頭尖銳如蛇；他們嘴脣下有虺蛇之毒呢。（細拉）永恆主啊，保守我脫離惡人的手！守護着我脫離強暴的人！就是圖謀推我、使我腳步絆跌的。驕傲人埋藏着機檻要害我；行為敗壞的人鋪下網子，在轍跡旁設下網羅要捉拿我。（細拉）我對永恆主說：『惟獨你是我的上帝』；永恆主啊，側耳聽我懇求的聲音！主永恆主，拯救我、的力量啊，當交鋒的日子你掩護了我的頭。永恆主啊，不要遂惡人的心願！不要使他們所計謀的成功哦！（細拉）圍困我的人昂首自高；願他們嘴脣下的毒害淹沒了他們。

他們上來，佈滿了廣袤大地，圍住了聖徒的營和那蒙愛的城。就有火從天上降下來燒滅他們。
