你是我的藏身之處，你守護我脫離危難，以得救的歡呼圍繞我。細拉

任何的智慧、聰慧和謀略，都無法在耶和華面前站立得住。

要知道，這些人如果不作惡就睡不著覺，不絆倒人就睡臥不安；

那麼，對這些事我們要怎麼說呢？神如果支持我們，誰還能反對我們呢？

大衛心裡說：「我總有一天會死在掃羅手中，已經別無選擇，只能逃到非利士人之地；這樣，掃羅就會放棄，不會繼續在以色列全境尋索我，我也就逃脫他的手了。」

惡人窺伺義人，尋機置他於死地；但耶和華必不將他離棄在惡人的手中；在審判的時候，也不定他有罪。

有人告訴掃羅：「大衛到了基伊拉。」掃羅就說：「神把他交在我手中了，因為他進入一座有門有閂的城，把自己關在裡面了。」

因為他們的腳向惡事奔跑，他們快速地殺人流血。

我投靠了耶和華，你們怎能對我說「你要像雀鳥那樣逃到自己的山裡」呢？看哪，惡人拉開弓，在弦上備好箭，要在幽暗中射那心裡正直的人！如果根基被毀，義人還能做什麼呢？

但是主站在我身邊，使我剛強，為要藉著我使傳道得以完成，讓所有外邦人都能聽見；我也從獅子口裡被救了出來。主將會救我脫離一切凶惡之事，並且救我進入他屬天的國度。願榮耀歸於他，直到永永遠遠！阿們。

以及我在安提阿、以哥念、路司得所遭受的逼迫和苦難——我忍受了何等的逼迫啊！可是主救我脫離了這一切。
