拉班聽見了關於外甥雅各的消息，就跑去迎接他，擁抱他，和他親吻，帶他到自己的家裡。雅各就把一切經過都告訴拉班。

於是眾人都渡過約旦河，王也渡過了。王與巴西萊親吻，為他祝福，巴西萊就回自己的地方去了。

雅各和拉結親吻，就放聲大哭。

他又與眾兄弟親吻，擁抱著他們哭。然後，他的兄弟們就跟他說話。
