他冒着生命的危险击杀了那非利士人，耶和华为以色列人施行了大拯救，那时你看见了，也很欢喜。现在你为什么要犯罪，无缘无故杀死大卫，流无辜人的血呢？”

He took his life in his hands when he killed the Philistine. The Lord won a great victory for all Israel, and you saw it and were glad. Why then would you do wrong to an innocent man like David by killing him for no reason?”

He put his own life in danger when he killed Goliath. The Lord used him to win a great battle for the whole nation of Israel. When you saw it, you were glad. So why would you do anything to harm a man like David? He isn’t guilty of doing anything to harm you. Why would you want to kill him without any reason?”

For he took his life in his hand and he struck down the Philistine, and the Lord worked a great salvation for all Israel. You saw it, and rejoiced. Why then will you sin against innocent blood by killing David without cause?”

Have you forgotten about the time he risked his life to kill the Philistine giant and how the Lord brought a great victory to all Israel as a result? You were certainly happy about it then. Why should you murder an innocent man like David? There is no reason for it at all!”

扫罗说：“今日耶和华在以色列中施行拯救，所以不可杀人。”

这勇士便站在那田间击杀非利士人，救护了那田。耶和华使以色列人大获全胜。

约拿单对父亲扫罗说：“他为什么该死呢？他做了什么呢？”

“我卖了无辜之人的血是有罪了。”他们说：“那与我们有什么相干？你自己承当吧！”

从前我父冒死为你们争战，救了你们脱离米甸人的手。

妇人到扫罗面前，见他极其惊恐，对他说：“婢女听从你的话，不顾惜自己的性命，遵从你所吩咐的。

我的性命常在危险之中，我却不忘记你的律法。

我见你们不来救我，我就拚命前去攻击亚扪人，耶和华将他们交在我手中。你们今日为什么上我这里来攻打我呢？”

我却不以性命为念，也不看为宝贵，只要行完我的路程，成就我从主耶稣所领受的职事，证明神恩惠的福音。

因他为做基督的工夫，几乎至死，不顾性命，要补足你们供给我的不及之处。

无故恨我的，比我头发还多；无理与我为仇、要把我剪除的，甚为强盛。我没有抢夺的，要叫我偿还。

彼拉多见说也无济于事，反要生乱，就拿水在众人面前洗手，说：“流这义人的血，罪不在我，你们承当吧。”

这要应验他们律法上所写的话，说：‘他们无故地恨我。’

但你们要确实地知道，若把我治死，就使无辜人的血归到你们和这城，并其中的居民了；因为耶和华实在差遣我到你们这里来，将这一切话传与你们耳中。”

百姓对扫罗说：“约拿单在以色列人中这样大行拯救，岂可使他死呢？断乎不可！我们指着永生的耶和华起誓，连他的一根头发也不可落地，因为他今日与神一同做事。”于是百姓救约拿单免了死亡。

免得无辜之人的血流在耶和华你神所赐你为业的地上，流血的罪就归于你。“若有人恨他的邻舍，埋伏着起来击杀他，以致于死，便逃到这些城的一座城，本城的长老就要打发人去，从那里带出他来，交在报血仇的手中，将他治死。你眼不可顾惜他，却要从以色列中除掉流无辜血的罪，使你可以得福。”

大卫用手从囊中掏出一块石子来，用机弦甩去，打中非利士人的额，石子进入额内，他就仆倒，面伏于地。这样，大卫用机弦甩石，胜了那非利士人，打死他；大卫手中却没有刀。大卫跑去，站在非利士人身旁，将他的刀从鞘中拔出来，杀死他，割了他的头。非利士众人看见他们讨战的勇士死了，就都逃跑。以色列人和犹大人便起身呐喊，追赶非利士人，直到迦特和以革伦的城门。被杀的非利士人倒在沙拉音的路上，直到迦特和以革伦。以色列人追赶非利士人回来，就夺了他们的营盘。

摩西对百姓说：“不要惧怕，只管站住！看耶和华今天向你们所要施行的救恩。因为，你们今天所看见的埃及人必永远不再看见了。

我们若忽略这么大的救恩，怎能逃罪呢？这救恩起先是主亲自讲的，后来是听见的人给我们证实了。

凡等候你的必不羞愧；惟有那无故行奸诈的必要羞愧。
