so he sent men to capture him. But when they saw a group of prophets prophesying, with Samuel standing there as their leader, the Spirit of God came on Saul’s men, and they also prophesied.

So Saul sent some men to capture him. When they got there, they saw a group of prophets who were prophesying. Samuel was standing there as their leader. Then the Spirit of God came on Saul’s men. So they also began to prophesy.

Then Saul sent messengers to take David, and when they saw the company of the prophets prophesying, and Samuel standing as head over them, the Spirit of God came upon the messengers of Saul, and they also prophesied.

𠵽唎㘔人聞眾論如此、則與祭司諸長、遣吏執之、

掃羅登山、見眾先知、為上帝之神所感、遂在先知中感神而言。

末日、我將以我神賦萬人、俾爾子女、言未來事、幼者見異象、老者兆於夢、

掃羅使者至、欲執大闢。婦曰、彼有疾。

掃羅遣人守於大闢家、待旦欲殺之、大闢妻米甲告之曰、今夕不自救、明日必見殺。

是後爾將詣上帝之山、在彼有非利士人之汛、既抵邑城、必遇眾先知、由崇邱而下、俱感神而言、有執鼗簫琴瑟者、行於其前。爾為耶和華之神所感、化為新民、同諸先知感神而言。

如眾設教、有不信者、及蚩氓入焉、遂因以自責、因以自評、其心之隱微顯著、伏拜上帝、言上帝在爾中矣、

吏歸、祭司諸長、𠵽唎㘔人問曰、何不曳之來乎、吏曰、此人所言、從未有若是者也、𠵽唎㘔人曰、爾曹亦為所惑乎、有司與𠵽唎㘔人、有信之者乎、但此眾不識律、可詛也、中有尼哥底母、曾夜就耶穌者、謂𠵽唎㘔人曰、未聽訟、不識其所為、我律豈罪之、曰、爾亦來自加利利乎、可考而知、無先知由加利利起也、

設教者、是與人言、輔德、勸勉、安慰者也、

耶和華乘雲降臨、與摩西言、以感摩西之神賦於長老、神既賦之、則感神而言、厥後不能常若此。所錄者中有二人、一名利達、一名米達、仍居於營、不適會幕、神既賦之、則在營中、感神而言。
