so he sent men to capture him. But when they saw a group of prophets prophesying, with Samuel standing there as their leader, the Spirit of God came on Saul’s men, and they also prophesied.

So Saul sent some men to capture him. When they got there, they saw a group of prophets who were prophesying. Samuel was standing there as their leader. Then the Spirit of God came on Saul’s men. So they also began to prophesy.

Then Saul sent messengers to take David, and when they saw the company of the prophets prophesying, and Samuel standing as head over them, the Spirit of God came upon the messengers of Saul, and they also prophesied.

法利赛人听见众人这样议论耶稣，就联合祭司长派差役去抓祂。

扫罗和他的仆人来到上帝的山，遇见了一群先知。上帝的灵降在扫罗身上，他就和他们一起说起预言来。

“以后，我要将我的灵浇灌所有的人。你们的儿女要说预言，老人要做异梦，青年要见异象。

扫罗派人来捉拿大卫的时候，米甲说他病了。

扫罗派人监视大卫的家，要在早上杀死他。大卫的妻子米甲警告他说：“如果你今晚不逃命，明早必死无疑。”

此后，你会去上帝的山，那里有非利士人的驻军。你一进城，就会遇见一群先知从丘坛下来，前面有人鼓瑟、敲鼓、吹笛、弹琴，先知们会说预言。耶和华的灵会降在你身上，你就会跟他们一起说预言，那时，你会变成另一个人。

但如果你们都做先知讲道，偶然有非信徒或是不懂方言的人进来，他会醒悟到自己的罪，良心受到谴责，心中的秘密也会显露出来，便会俯伏敬拜上帝，说：“上帝真的在你们当中！”

祭司长和法利赛人看见差役空手回来，就问：“你们为什么不把祂带来呢？”差役答道：“从未有人像祂那样说话！”法利赛人说：“难道你们也被祂迷惑了吗？哪有官长和法利赛人信祂呢？这群不明白律法的民众该受咒诅！”曾经夜访耶稣、属于他们当中一员的尼哥德慕说：“难道不听被告申辩，不查明事实真相，我们的律法就定祂的罪吗？”他们回答说：“难道你也是加利利人吗？你去查查看，就会知道没有先知是从加利利来的。”

但先知讲道是对人讲的，为了要造就、鼓励、安慰人。

耶和华在云中降临，对摩西说话，把降在摩西身上的灵也赐给七十位长老。灵一降在他们身上，他们就说起预言来，但只说了这一次。七十位长老中的伊利达和米达没有到会幕去，但耶和华的灵也降在他们身上，他们就在营中说起预言来。
