The next day an evil spirit from God came forcefully on Saul. He was prophesying in his house, while David was playing the lyre, as he usually did. Saul had a spear in his hand

The next day an evil spirit sent by God came powerfully on Saul. Saul began to prophesy in his house. At that same time David began to play the harp, just as he usually did. Saul was holding a spear.

The next day a harmful spirit from God rushed upon Saul, and he raved within his house while David was playing the lyre, as he did day by day. Saul had his spear in his hand.

The very next day a tormenting spirit from God overwhelmed Saul, and he began to rave in his house like a madman. David was playing the harp, as he did each day. But Saul had a spear in his hand,

The next day an evil spirit sent from God came powerfully on Saul, and he began to rave inside the palace. David was playing the lyre as usual, but Saul was holding a spear,

Now it came about on the next day that an evil spirit from God rushed upon Saul, and he raved in the midst of the house while David was playing the harp with his hand, as usual; and a spear was in Saul’s hand.

And it happened on the next day that the distressing spirit from God came upon Saul, and he prophesied inside the house. So David played music with his hand, as at other times; but there was a spear in Saul’s hand.

And it came to pass on the morrow, that an evil spirit from God came mightily upon Saul, and he prophesied in the midst of the house: and David played with his hand, as he did day by day. And Saul had his spear in his hand;

從耶和華來的邪靈又降在掃羅身上，掃羅手裏拿槍坐在屋裏，大衛正用手彈琴。

後來，我們往那禱告的地方去時，有一個被占卜的靈附身的使女迎面走來，她使用法術使她的主人們發了大財。

耶和華說：『誰去引誘亞哈上基列的拉末去陣亡呢？』這個這樣說，那個那樣說。隨後有一個靈出來，站在耶和華面前，說：『我去引誘他。』耶和華問他：『用甚麼方法呢？』他說：『我要出去，在他眾先知的口中成為謊言的靈。』耶和華說：『這樣，你去引誘他，必能成功。你出去，照樣做吧！』現在，看哪，耶和華使謊言的靈入了你所有的這些先知的口，並且耶和華已經宣告要降禍於你。」

從神那裏來的邪靈臨到掃羅身上的時候，大衛就拿琴，用手彈奏，使掃羅舒暢，感覺爽快，那邪靈就離開他了。

故此，神就給他們一個引發錯誤的心，叫他們信從虛謊，

中午過去了，他們狂呼亂叫，直到獻晚祭的時候，卻沒有聲音，沒有回應的，也沒有理睬的。

現在求我主我王聽僕人的話：若是耶和華激發你來攻擊我，願耶和華悅納供物；若是出於人，願他們在耶和華面前受詛咒，因為他們今日趕逐我，不讓我在耶和華的產業中有分，說：『你去事奉別神吧！』

耶和華的靈離開掃羅，有邪靈從耶和華那裏來擾亂他。掃羅的臣僕對他說：「看哪，有邪靈從神那裏來擾亂你。我們的主可以吩咐你面前的臣僕，去找一個善於彈琴的來。神那裏來的邪靈臨到你身上的時候，他用手彈琴，你就會感覺爽快。」

他就往那裏去，到了拉瑪的拿約。神的靈也臨到他，他一面走一面受感說話，直到拉瑪的拿約。他也脫了衣服，也在撒母耳面前受感說話，一日一夜赤身躺臥。因此有人說：「掃羅也在先知中嗎？」

「萬軍之耶和華－以色列的神如此說：我已經折斷巴比倫王的軛。二年之內，我要將巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒從這地擄掠到巴比倫的器皿，就是耶和華殿中的一切器皿，都帶回此地。我又要將約雅敬的兒子猶大王耶哥尼雅和被擄到巴比倫所有的猶大人帶回此地，因為我要折斷巴比倫王的軛。這是耶和華說的。」

哈拿尼雅又當着眾百姓的面說：「耶和華如此說：二年之內我必照樣從列國的頸項上折斷巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒的軛。」耶利米先知就離開了。

萬軍之耶和華說：「在那日，我要從地上除滅偶像的名，使它不再被記得；我也必使這地不再有先知，不再有污穢的靈。若還有人說預言，生他的父母必對他說：『你不得存活，因為你假借耶和華的名說謊話。』生他的父母在他說預言時，要將他刺死。那日，凡作先知說預言的必因所論的異象羞愧，不再穿毛皮外袍哄騙人。他要說：『我不是先知，我是耕地的；我從幼年就作人的奴僕。』

所有的先知也都這樣預言說：「可以上基列的拉末去，必然得勝，因為耶和華必將那城交在王的手中。」
