Samuel replied,“ Yes, in peace; I have come to sacrifice to the Lord. Consecrate yourselves and come to the sacrifice with me.” Then he consecrated Jesse and his sons and invited them to the sacrifice.

Samuel replied,“ Yes, I’ve come in peace. I’ve come to offer a sacrifice to the Lord. Set yourselves apart to him and come to the sacrifice with me.” Then he set Jesse and his sons apart to the Lord. He invited them to the sacrifice.

And he said,“ Peaceably; I have come to sacrifice to the Lord. Consecrate yourselves, and come with me to the sacrifice.” And he consecrated Jesse and his sons and invited them to the sacrifice.

“ Yes,” Samuel replied.“ I have come to sacrifice to the Lord. Purify yourselves and come with me to the sacrifice.” Then Samuel performed the purification rite for Jesse and his sons and invited them to the sacrifice, too.

“ In peace,” he replied.“ I’ve come to sacrifice to the LORD. Consecrate yourselves and come with me to the sacrifice.” Then he consecrated Jesse and his sons and invited them to the sacrifice.

And he said,“ Peaceably; I have come to sacrifice to the Lord. Sanctify yourselves, and come with me to the sacrifice.” Then he consecrated Jesse and his sons, and invited them to the sacrifice.

And he said, Peaceably: I am come to sacrifice unto the LORD: sanctify yourselves, and come with me to the sacrifice. And he sanctified Jesse and his sons, and called them to the sacrifice.

He said,“ Peaceably; I have come to sacrifice to Yahweh. Sanctify yourselves, and come with me to the sacrifice.” He sanctified Jesse and his sons, and called them to the sacrifice.

The Lord also said to Moses,“ Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow, and have them wash their garments;

Then Joshua said to the people,“ Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do miracles among you.”

So Moses went down from the mountain to the people and consecrated the people, and they washed their garments.He also said to the people,“ Be ready for the third day; do not go near a woman.”

You shall consecrate yourselves therefore and be holy, for I am the Lord your God.So you shall keep My statutes and practice them; I am the Lord who sanctifies you.

Examine me, Lord, and put me to the test; Refine my mind and my heart.For Your goodness is before my eyes, And I have walked in Your truth.I do not sit with deceitful people, Nor will I go with pretenders.I hate the assembly of evildoers, And I will not sit with the wicked.I will wash my hands in innocence, And I will go around Your altar, Lord,

But a person must examine himself, and in so doing he is to eat of the bread and drink of the cup.

For there were many in the assembly who had not consecrated themselves; therefore, the Levites were in charge of the slaughter of the Passover lambs for everyone who was unclean, in order to consecrate them to the Lord.For a multitude of the people, many from Ephraim and Manasseh, and Issachar and Zebulun, had not purified themselves, yet they ate the Passover contrary to what was written. For Hezekiah prayed for them, saying,“ May the good Lord pardoneveryone who prepares his heart to seek God, the Lord God of his fathers, though not according to the purification rules of the sanctuary.”So the Lord heard Hezekiah and healed the people.

Stand up! Consecrate the people and say,‘ Consecrate yourselves for tomorrow, because the Lord, the God of Israel, has said this:“ There are things designated for destruction in your midst, Israel. You cannot stand against your enemies until you have removed the designated things from your midst.”

When the days of feasting had completed their cycle, Job would send word to them and consecrate them, getting up early in the morning and offering burnt offerings according to the number of them all; for Job said,“ Perhaps my sons have sinned and cursed God in their hearts.” Job did so continually.

Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, Assemble the elders, Gather the children and the nursing infants. Have the groom come out of his room And the bride out of her bridal chamber.

The people would roam about and gather it and grind it between two millstones, or pound it in the mortar, and boil it in the pot and make loaves with it; and its taste was like the taste of cake baked with oil.
