撒母耳说：“我耳中听见有羊叫、牛鸣的声音，又是什么呢？”

撒母耳说：“我耳中听见有羊叫、牛鸣，是从哪里来的呢？”

撒母耳说：“我耳中听见有羊叫、牛鸣的声音，又是什么呢？”

撒母耳说：“那么，我现在听见的牛羊叫声是从哪里来的？”

撒母耳说：“我耳中听见有羊叫牛鸣的声音，到底是什么呢？”

撒母耳说：“那么我耳中这羊叫的声音、我所听见的牛叫声，是怎么回事呢？”

撒母耳說：「我耳中聽見有羊叫、牛鳴，是從哪裏來的呢？」

撒母耳說：「我耳中聽見有羊叫、牛鳴的聲音，又是甚麼呢？」

撒母耳說：「我耳中聽見有羊叫、牛鳴的聲音，又是甚麼呢？」

撒母耳說：「那麼，我現在聽見的牛羊叫聲是從哪裡來的？」

撒母耳說：“我耳中聽見有羊叫牛鳴的聲音，到底是甚麼呢？”

撒母耳說：『那麼傳入我耳中的這羊叫的聲音、和我所聽見牛叫的聲音，都是怎麼回事啊？』

撒母耳說：「那麼我耳中這羊叫的聲音、我所聽見的牛叫聲，是怎麼回事呢？」

撒母耳曰、然則我聞羊鳴牛鳴、是何意耶、

撒母耳曰、羊鳴牛吼、入於我耳、是何故與。

撒母耳曰、若然、則入我耳之羊鳴、我所聞之牛吼、由何至歟、

But Samuel said,“ What then is this bleating of sheep in my ears? What is this lowing of cattle that I hear?”

But Samuel said,“ Then why do I hear the baaing of sheep? Why do I hear the mooing of cattle?”

And Samuel said,“ What then is this bleating of the sheep in my ears and the lowing of the oxen that I hear?”

“ Then what is all the bleating of sheep and goats and the lowing of cattle I hear?” Samuel demanded.

Samuel replied,“ Then what is this sound of sheep, goats, and cattle I hear?”

But Samuel said,“ What then is this bleating of the sheep in my ears, and the bellowing of the oxen which I hear?”

But Samuel said,“ What then is this bleating of the sheep in my ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear?”

And Samuel said, What meaneth then this bleating of the sheep in mine ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear?

Samuel replied,“ Then what is this sound of sheep and cattle I hear?”

And Samuel said, What[ meaneth] then this bleating of the sheep in mine ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear?

Samuel replied,“ If that is the case, then what is this sound of sheep in my ears and the sound of cattle that I hear?”

Samuel said,“ Then what does this bleating of the sheep in my ears, and the lowing of the cattle which I hear mean?”

所以，时候未到，在主来以前什么都不要评断，他要照出暗中的隐情，揭发人的动机。那时，各人要从上帝那里得着称赞。

他自夸自媚，以致罪孽无法察觉，不被恨恶。

但上帝对恶人说：“你怎敢传讲我的律例，口中提到我的约呢？其实你恨恶管教，将我的言语抛在脑后。你见了盗贼就乐意与他同伙，又和行奸淫的人同流合污。“你的口出恶言，你的舌编造诡诈。你坐着，毁谤你的兄弟，谗害你亲母的儿子。你做了这些事，我闭口不言，你想我正如你一样；其实我要责备你，将这些事摆在你眼前。

我们知道律法所说的话都是对律法之下的人说的，好塞住各人的口，使普世的人都伏在上帝的审判之下。

你衣服的边上有无辜贫穷人的血，其实你并未发现他们挖洞进屋偷窃。虽有这一切的事，你还说：‘我无辜；耶和华的怒气必定转离我了。’看哪，我必审问你；因你自己说：‘我没有犯罪。’你为何东奔西跑改变你的道路呢？你必因埃及蒙羞，像从前因亚述蒙羞一样。你也必两手抱头离开这里；因为耶和华已经弃绝你所倚靠的，你不能因他们而得顺利。”

现今你为何在埃及路上喝西曷河的水呢？为何在亚述路上喝大河的水呢？你自己的恶必惩治你，你背道的事必责罚你。由此可知可见，你离弃耶和华—你的上帝，不存敬畏我的心，实为恶事，为苦事；这是万军之主耶和华说的。”

你虽用碱、多用皂荚清洗，你罪孽的痕迹仍显在我面前。这是主耶和华说的。你怎能说：‘我没有玷污，没有随从巴力’？看看你在谷中所做的，思想你自己的所作所为；你是快行的独峰驼，狂奔乱闯。

耶和华说：“你们用话顶撞我。”你们却说：“我们说了什么话顶撞你呢？”你们说：“事奉上帝是枉然，我们遵守上帝所吩咐的，在万军之耶和华面前哀痛而行，有什么益处呢？现在，我们称狂傲的人为有福，并且行恶的人得以建立；他们虽然试探上帝，却得以逃脱。”

主人对他说：‘你这恶仆，我要凭你的话定你的罪。你既知道我是严厉的人，没有放的也去拿，没有种的也去收，
