One day Samuel said to Saul,“ It was the Lord who told me to anoint you as king of his people, Israel. Now listen to this message from the Lord!

撒母耳对扫罗说：“耶和华差遣我膏你为王，治理他的百姓以色列；所以你当听从耶和华的话。

撒母耳对扫罗说：“耶和华差遣我膏你为王，治理他的百姓以色列，现在你要听从耶和华的话。

撒母耳对扫罗说：“耶和华差遣我膏你为王，治理他的百姓以色列，现在你要听从耶和华的话。

一天，撒母耳对扫罗说：“耶和华差遣我膏立你做祂以色列子民的王，所以你要听从祂的话。

撒母耳对扫罗说：“耶和华差遣我膏立你作他子民以色列的王，所以现在你要听耶和华的话。

撒母耳对扫罗说：“耶和华派遣我来膏立你为王，统治他的子民以色列，所以，你现在要听从耶和华的命令。

撒母耳對掃羅說：「耶和華差遣我膏你為王，治理他的百姓以色列；所以你當聽從耶和華的話。

撒母耳對掃羅說：「耶和華差遣我膏你為王，治理他的百姓以色列，現在你要聽從耶和華的話。

撒母耳對掃羅說：「耶和華差遣我膏你為王，治理他的百姓以色列，現在你要聽從耶和華的話。

一天，撒母耳對掃羅說：「耶和華差遣我膏立你做祂以色列子民的王，所以你要聽從祂的話。

撒母耳對掃羅說：“耶和華差遣我膏立你作他子民以色列的王，所以現在你要聽耶和華的話。

撒母耳對掃羅說：『永恆主是差遣了我來膏立你為王管理他人民以色列的；所以你要聽永恆主所說的話。

撒母耳對掃羅說：「耶和華派遣我來膏立你為王，統治他的子民以色列，所以，你現在要聽從耶和華的命令。

撒母耳謂掃羅曰、昔耶和華遣我膏爾、立為其民以色列之王、今爾當聽耶和華言、

撒母耳告掃羅曰、我奉耶和華所遣、以膏沐爾、使為以色列民之王、今耶和華之命爾當聽從。

撒母耳謂掃羅曰、主曾遣我膏爾立為其民以色列之王、今當聽從主之命、

Samuel said to Saul,“ I am the one the Lord sent to anoint you king over his people Israel; so listen now to the message from the Lord.

Samuel said to Saul,“ The Lord sent me to anoint you as king over his people Israel. So listen now to a message from him.

And Samuel said to Saul,“ The Lord sent me to anoint you king over his people Israel; now therefore listen to the words of the Lord.

Samuel told Saul,“ The LORD sent me to anoint you as king over his people Israel. Now, listen to the words of the LORD.

Then Samuel said to Saul,“ The Lord sent me to anoint you as king over His people, over Israel; now therefore, listen to the words of the Lord.

Samuel also said to Saul,“ The Lord sent me to anoint you king over His people, over Israel. Now therefore, heed the voice of the words of the Lord.

And Samuel said unto Saul, Jehovah sent me to anoint thee to be king over his people, over Israel: now therefore hearken thou unto the voice of the words of Jehovah.

Samuel told Saul,“ The Lord sent me to anoint you as king over His people Israel. Now, listen to the words of the Lord.

Samuel also said unto Saul, The LORD sent me to anoint thee[ to be] king over his people, over Israel: now therefore hearken thou unto the voice of the words of the LORD.

Then Samuel said to Saul,“ I was the one the LORD sent to anoint you as king over his people Israel. Now listen to what the LORD says.

Samuel said to Saul,“ Yahweh sent me to anoint you to be king over his people, over Israel. Now therefore listen to the voice of Yahweh’s words.

“ About this time tomorrow I will send you a man from the land of Benjamin. Anoint him to be the leader of my people, Israel. He will rescue them from the Philistines, for I have looked down on my people in mercy and have heard their cry.”

Then Samuel took a flask of olive oil and poured it over Saul’s head. He kissed Saul and said,“ I am doing this because the Lord has appointed you to be the ruler over Israel, his special possession.

Now then, you kings, act wisely! Be warned, you rulers of the earth!Serve the Lord with reverent fear, and rejoice with trembling.

“ The Spirit of the Lord speaks through me; his words are upon my tongue.The God of Israel spoke. The Rock of Israel said to me:‘ The one who rules righteously, who rules in the fear of God,

“ How foolish!” Samuel exclaimed.“ You have not kept the command the Lord your God gave you. Had you kept it, the Lord would have established your kingdom over Israel forever.

“ Now if you fear and worship the Lord and listen to his voice, and if you do not rebel against the Lord’s commands, then both you and your king will show that you recognize the Lord as your God.

Then Samuel said to Saul,“ Stop! Listen to what the Lord told me last night!”“ What did he tell you?” Saul asked.And Samuel told him,“ Although you may think little of yourself, are you not the leader of the tribes of Israel? The Lord has anointed you king of Israel.And the Lord sent you on a mission and told you,‘ Go and completely destroy the sinners, the Amalekites, until they are all dead.’

And may the Lord give you wisdom and understanding, that you may obey the Law of the Lord your God as you rule over Israel.For you will be successful if you carefully obey the decrees and regulations that the Lord gave to Israel through Moses. Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid or lose heart!
