But now your kingdom will not endure; the Lord has sought out a man after his own heart and appointed him ruler of his people, because you have not kept the Lord’s command.”

既廢之、舉大衛為王、為之證曰、我得耶西子大衛、其人愜我心、將悉行我旨也、

撒母耳曰、是日耶和華裂以色列國、使之離爾、以賜爾鄰、賢於爾者、

爾見異象、諭爾聖民曰、我以助力、畀有能者、高舉一人、自民所簡兮、尋獲我僕大衛、膏以聖膏兮、我手恆與之偕、我臂必增其力、仇敵不得勒索之、惡黨不得困苦之兮、我必擊仆其敵、撻憾之者兮、我之信實慈惠、必與之偕、藉我之名、其角高舉兮、我使其手及於海、右手至於河兮、彼必呼我曰、爾為我父、我之上帝、我拯救之磐石兮、我必立之為冢子、地上至高之王兮、為之永存我慈惠、堅定我盟約兮、我必永延其裔、俾其位如天悠久兮、如其子孫違棄我法度、不遵我律例、玷辱我典章、不守我誡命、我必以杖責其愆尤、以鞭懲其罪戾兮、然我之慈惠、不盡追回、我之信實、不忍廢棄、不爽我約、不易我口所出兮、我指己聖而誓、一次而已、必不欺誑大衛兮、其裔永存、其位在於我前、如日之久、如月之恆、如上天之確證兮、○

故以色列之上帝耶和華曰、昔我有言、爾與爾祖之家、將恆久行於我前、今我則曰、決不如是、凡尊我者、我必重之、凡藐我者、我必輕之、

返告我民之君希西家曰、爾祖大衛之上帝耶和華云、我已聞爾禱、見爾淚、必療爾疾、越至三日、爾必登耶和華室、

遂遣人攜之入、其人赤色、目秀貌美、耶和華曰、斯人是也、起而膏之、

明日斯時、我遣便雅憫地之人就爾、爾必膏之、立為我民以色列之長、拯我民於非利士人手、蓋我民之呼籲達於我前、我垂顧之、

惟我仁慈不離之、如昔奪之於掃羅、即我為爾所棄者、爾家爾國必堅立、爾位必堅定、至於永遠、

蓋萬物所本所歸者、欲引眾子得榮、使救之之君、以苦難而完全、宜也、

夫大衛獲恩於上帝、求為雅各之上帝得一居所、

昔掃羅為我王時、爾率以色列人出入、耶和華謂爾曰、爾必為我民以色列之牧、而作其君、

耶和華謂撒母耳曰、我既棄掃羅、不使為以色列王、爾為之懷憂、伊於胡底、可盛膏於角而往、我將遣爾詣伯利恆人耶西、其眾子中、我簡其一為王、

簡其僕大衛、出之於羊牢、
