For Jehovah will not forsake his people for his great name’s sake, because it hath pleased Jehovah to make you a people unto himself.

For the sake of his great name the Lord will not reject his people, because the Lord was pleased to make you his own.

But the Lord will be true to his great name. He won’t turn his back on his people. That’s because he was pleased to make you his own people.

For the Lord will not forsake his people, for his great name’s sake, because it has pleased the Lord to make you a people for himself.

The Lord will not abandon his people, because that would dishonor his great name. For it has pleased the Lord to make you his very own people.

being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ:

For the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land will hear of it, and will compass us round, and cut off our name from the earth: and what wilt thou do for thy great name?

For the gifts and the calling of God are not repented of.

For thou art a holy people unto Jehovah thy God, and Jehovah hath chosen thee to be a people for his own possession, above all peoples that are upon the face of the earth.

For the Lord will not cast off for ever.For though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses.

Do not abhor us, for thy name’s sake; do not disgrace the throne of thy glory: remember, break not thy covenant with us.

to the end that we should be unto the praise of his glory, we who had before hoped in Christ:

But ye are an elect race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that ye may show forth the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake; and I will not remember thy sins.

But I wrought for my name’s sake, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations, in whose sight I brought them out.

For Jehovah will not cast off his people, Neither will he forsake his inheritance.

yea, Father, for so it was well- pleasing in thy sight.

And I will bring the blind by a way that they know not; in paths that they know not will I lead them; I will make darkness light before them, and crooked places straight. These things will I do, and I will not forsake them.

Be ye free from the love of money; content with such things as ye have: for himself hath said, I will in no wise fail thee, neither will I in any wise forsake thee.

The poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst; I, Jehovah, will answer them, I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them.

I said, I would scatter them afar, I would make the remembrance of them to cease from among men;Were it not that I feared the provocation of the enemy, Lest their adversaries should judge amiss, Lest they should say, Our hand is exalted, And Jehovah hath not done all this.

Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which Jehovah did choose, he hath cast them off? thus do they despise my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.Thus saith Jehovah: If my covenant of day and night stand not, if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;then will I also cast away the seed of Jacob, and of David my servant, so that I will not take of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and will have mercy on them.

For I will defend this city to save it, for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.

Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall come upon them; so that they will say in that day, Are not these evils come upon us because our God is not among us?

Even as it is written, Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that hath mercy.For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, For this very purpose did I raise thee up, that I might show in thee my power, and that my name might be published abroad in all the earth.So then he hath mercy on whom he will, and whom he will he hardeneth.

For who maketh thee to differ? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? but if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory as if thou hadst not received it?

and he went out to meet Asa, and said unto him, Hear ye me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin: Jehovah is with you, while ye are with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.
