He was from the hill country of Ephraim. But he was living in Gibeah. The people who lived there were from the tribe of Benjamin.

Zelah, Haeleph, Jerusalem, Gibeah and Kiriath. The total number of towns and their villages was 14. That was the share of land the family groups of Benjamin received.

Then everyone God had inspired prepared to go. They wanted to go up to Jerusalem and build the Lord’ s temple there. They included the family leaders of Judah and Benjamin. They also included the priests and Levites.
