她丈夫以利加拿说：“就随你的意行吧！可以等儿子断了奶。但愿耶和华应验他的话。”于是妇人在家里乳养儿子，直到断了奶；

她丈夫以利加拿对她说：“就照你看为好的去做吧！可以留到儿子断了奶，愿耶和华应验他的话。”于是妇人留在家里乳养儿子，直到他断了奶。

她丈夫以利加拿對她說：「你看怎樣好就怎樣做吧，你可以留下來，直到你給他斷奶。唯願耶和華實現他的話。」於是哈娜留下來，乳養她的兒子，直到給孩子斷了奶。

以利加拿曰、爾視為善者則行之、待子斷乳可也、惟願耶和華踐其言、婦遂居家哺子、迨及斷乳、

以利迦拿曰、任爾所為、待子斷乳可也、願耶和華前所言者、必能有應、婦居哺子、迨及斷乳。

“ Do what seems best to you,” her husband Elkanah told her.“ Stay here until you have weaned him; only may the Lord make good his word.” So the woman stayed at home and nursed her son until she had weaned him.

Her husband Elkanah told her,“ Do what you think is best. Stay here at home until Samuel doesn’t need you to breast- feed him anymore. May the Lord make his promise to you come true.” So Hannah stayed home. She breast- fed her son until he didn’t need her milk anymore.

Elkanah her husband said to her,“ Do what seems best to you; wait until you have weaned him; only, may the Lord establish his word.” So the woman remained and nursed her son until she weaned him.

“ Whatever you think is best,” Elkanah agreed.“ Stay here for now, and may the Lord help you keep your promise.” So she stayed home and nursed the boy until he was weaned.

Her husband, Elkanah, replied,“ Do what you think is best, and stay here until you’ve weaned him. May the LORD confirm your word.” So Hannah stayed there and nursed her son until she weaned him.

Elkanah her husband said to her,“ Do what seems best to you. Stay until you have weaned him; only may the Lord confirm His word.” So the woman stayed and nursed her son until she weaned him.

So Elkanah her husband said to her,“ Do what seems best to you; wait until you have weaned him. Only let the Lord establish His word.” Then the woman stayed and nursed her son until she had weaned him.

And Elkanah her husband said unto her, Do what seemeth thee good; tarry until thou have weaned him; only Jehovah establish his word. So the woman tarried and gave her son suck, until she weaned him.

Her husband Elkanah replied,“ Do what you think is best, and stay here until you’ve weaned him. May the Lord confirm your word.” So Hannah stayed there and nursed her son until she weaned him.

And Elkanah her husband said unto her, Do what seemeth thee good; tarry until thou have weaned him; only the LORD establish his word. So the woman abode, and gave her son suck until she weaned him.

So her husband Elkanah said to her,“ Do what you think best. Stay until you have weaned him. May the LORD fulfill his promise.” So the woman stayed and nursed her son until she had weaned him.

Elkanah her husband said to her,“ Do what seems good to you. Wait until you have weaned him; only may Yahweh establish his word.” So the woman waited and nursed her son until she weaned him.

耶和華神啊！你所應許關於你僕人和他的家的話，現在求你永遠堅守，並且照著你所說的去行吧；

當那些日子，懷孕的和乳養孩子的有禍了！

以利回答：“平平安安回去吧！願以色列的神把你向他所求的賜給你。”

我使我僕人的話實現，使我使者的謀算成就。我對耶路撒冷說：‘你必有人居住。’對猶大的城鎮說：‘你們要再被建造起來，至於其中的廢墟，我必重建它們。’

她丈夫聽見了，但在聽見的時候，默不作聲，她所許的願和約束自己的話，就為有效。但是她丈夫聽見的時候，如果阻止她，就算廢了她所許的願和她嘴裡所說約束自己的冒失話；耶和華也必赦免她。“寡婦，或是離了婚的婦人所許的願，就是她所說約束自己的一切話，都為有效。如果她在丈夫家裡許了願，或用誓言約束自己，她丈夫聽見了，卻默不作聲，也沒有阻止她，她所許的願和所說一切約束自己的話，就為有效。

耶穌正說這些話的時候，群眾中有一個女人高聲對他說：“懷你胎的和哺養你的有福了！”

然而，是你使我從母腹中出來的；我在母親的懷裡，你就使我有倚靠的心。

又說：“誰能告訴亞伯拉罕，撒拉要乳養兒女呢？在他年老的時候，我竟給他生了一個兒子。”孩子漸漸長大，就斷了奶。以撒斷奶的那天，亞伯拉罕擺設盛大的筵席。
