Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you.

“ That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life— whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing?Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are?

But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you.I praise God for what he has promised. I trust in God, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me?

Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said,“ I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.”So we can say with confidence,“ The Lord is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?”

Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.“ So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.

Then, turning to his disciples, Jesus said,“ That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life— whether you have enough food to eat or enough clothes to wear.

David was now in great danger because all his men were very bitter about losing their sons and daughters, and they began to talk of stoning him. But David found strength in the Lord his God.

These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers all over the world, but your Father already knows your needs.Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need.“ So don’t be afraid, little flock. For it gives your Father great happiness to give you the Kingdom.

The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right; his ears are open to their cries for help.

Yet I am confident I will see the Lord’s goodness while I am here in the land of the living.Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.

I look for someone to come and help me, but no one gives me a passing thought! No one will help me; no one cares a bit what happens to me.Then I pray to you, O Lord. I say,“ You are my place of refuge. You are all I really want in life.

“ And when you are brought to trial in the synagogues and before rulers and authorities, don’t worry about how to defend yourself or what to say,for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what needs to be said.”

Jesus was sleeping at the back of the boat with his head on a cushion. The disciples woke him up, shouting,“ Teacher, don’t you care that we’re going to drown?”

Hannah was in deep anguish, crying bitterly as she prayed to the Lord.And she made this vow:“ O Lord of Heaven’s Armies, if you will look upon my sorrow and answer my prayer and give me a son, then I will give him back to you. He will be yours for his entire lifetime, and as a sign that he has been dedicated to the Lord, his hair will never be cut.”As she was praying to the Lord, Eli watched her.Seeing her lips moving but hearing no sound, he thought she had been drinking.“ Must you come here drunk?” he demanded.“ Throw away your wine!”“ Oh no, sir!” she replied.“ I haven’t been drinking wine or anything stronger. But I am very discouraged, and I was pouring out my heart to the Lord.Don’t think I am a wicked woman! For I have been praying out of great anguish and sorrow.”“ In that case,” Eli said,“ go in peace! May the God of Israel grant the request you have asked of him.”“ Oh, thank you, sir!” she exclaimed. Then she went back and began to eat again, and she was no longer sad.

The hired hand runs away because he’s working only for the money and doesn’t really care about the sheep.
