Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because whoever suffers in the body is done with sin.

Christ suffered in his body. So prepare yourselves to think in the same way Christ did. Do this because whoever suffers in their body is finished with sin.

Since therefore Christ suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves with the same way of thinking, for whoever has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,

So then, since Christ suffered physical pain, you must arm yourselves with the same attitude he had, and be ready to suffer, too. For if you have suffered physically for Christ, you have finished with sin.

凡属基督耶稣的人，是已经把肉体与肉体的邪情私欲同钉在十字架上了。

因为基督也曾一次为罪受苦，就是义的代替不义的，为要引领你们到上帝面前。在肉体里，他被治死；但在灵里，他复活了。

因为你们已经死了，你们的生命与基督一同藏在上帝里面。基督是你们的生命，他显现的时候，你们也要与他一同在荣耀里显现。所以，要治死你们在地上的肢体；就如淫乱、污秽、邪情、恶欲和贪婪—贪婪就是拜偶像。

现在活着的不再是我，乃是基督在我里面活着；并且我如今在肉身活着，是因信上帝的儿子而活；他是爱我，为我舍己。

这样，你们也要看自己对罪是死的，在基督耶稣里对上帝却是活的。

你们要洗涤、自洁，从我眼前除掉恶行；要停止作恶，

所以，要拿起上帝所赐的全副军装，好在邪恶的日子能抵挡仇敌，并且完成了一切后还能站立得住。

因为已死的人是脱离了罪。

绝对不可！我们向罪死了的人，岂可仍在罪中活着呢？

黑夜已深，白昼将近。所以我们该除去暗昧的行为，带上光明的兵器。行事为人要端正，好像在白昼行走。不可荒宴醉酒；不可好色淫荡；不可纷争嫉妒。总要披戴主耶稣基督，不要只顾满足肉体，去放纵私欲。

你们要仔细想想这位忍受了罪人如此顶撞的耶稣，你们就不致心灰意懒了。

你们当以基督耶稣的心为心：

因为那些进入安息的，也是歇了自己的工作，正如上帝歇了他的工作一样。

用火焚烧你的房屋，在许多妇女眼前审判你。我必使你不再行淫，你也不再给赏金。
