又建所有府庫之城、屯車之城、駐馬卒之城、又在耶路撒冷、在利巴嫩、在所轄之全地、凡所欲建者悉建之、

如是所羅門建成主殿及王宮、凡所羅門意中所欲作於主殿及己宮者、皆亨通而工無不竣、是夜主顯現於所羅門、諭之曰、我聞爾之祈禱、特選此殿為祭我之所、如我使天閉塞而不降雨、或使蝗蝻食土產、或使疫癘流行我民中、斯民即名為我民者、卑以自牧、祈禱以求我面、離其惡道、離其惡道或作悔其惡行則我必在天垂聽赦其罪、使其地無災、使其地無災原文作我醫其地凡祈禱於此所者、我目必垂顧、我耳必俯聽、今我已選此殿、使之成聖、使我名永在其中、我目我心亦恆在其中、如爾於我前、行止法爾父大衛、行我所諭爾之命、守我律例法度、則我必鞏固爾國位、昔我與爾父大衛立約曰、爾嗣必繼爾治以色列民、永遠不絕、我必踐其言、如爾曹背逆、棄我所賜爾之律例誡命、往而奉事崇拜他神、則我必拔斯民之根株、驅於我所賜之之地、且擯棄我為我名所區別為聖之殿、使萬民作歌譏刺、此殿今雖崇高、凡過之者必驚訝問曰、主如是行於斯地與斯殿何故、則必曰、緣斯民棄主其列祖之天主、導之出伊及地者、親暱他神、奉事崇拜、故主降以是災、所羅門建主之殿及王宮、二十年始竣其工、戶蘭所予所予或作復歸所羅門之數邑、所羅門重建之、使以色列人居之、所羅門往哈末之瑣巴取之、在曠野建達莫、又在哈末建諸俯庫之邑、又建上伯和崙下伯和崙、為保障之邑、有垣、有門、有楗、又建巴拉、及所有府庫之邑、屯車之邑、屯騎之邑、又在耶路撒冷、在利巴嫩、在所轄之全地、凡欲建者悉建之、

建造之時、推羅王希蘭以柏香木柏木及金、資助所羅門、隨其所欲、所羅門遂以加利利地二十邑、予希蘭、

於是廣興工作、建造屋宇、植葡萄園、

所羅門即位第四年、細弗月、始置主殿之基、第十一年、布勒月即八月、殿及凡屬殿者告成、俱遵式而建、建之之時、歷七年之久、所羅門為己建宮室、歷十三年方竣其工、

不禁我目欲所欲者、不禁我心樂所樂者、蓋我思我既勞碌操作、我心享樂、宜也、此我由我一切勞碌所獲之分、

目睹勝於心戀、然皆屬於虛、皆如捕風、○

於是所羅門王為主殿所作者、皆竣其工、遂攜父大衛所獻所獻或作區別為聖之金銀與器皿、置於主殿之府庫、
