祂向你们宣告祂的约，就是祂吩咐你们遵守的十诫，并写在两块石版上。

我要把你摔碎的那两块石版上的话重新写在你凿的石版上。你要把它们放在柜子里。’于是，我用皂荚木做了一个柜子，又凿了两块石版，与前两块石版一样，然后带着石版上了山。耶和华把你们在山脚下聚会时祂在山上的火焰中向你们颁布的十条诫命，重新刻在石版上，并把石版交给我。我下山后，遵照耶和华的吩咐把石版放在我做的柜子里。现在石版仍放在那里。

所罗门祷告完毕，就有火从天上降下，烧尽了燔祭和其他祭物。殿里充满了耶和华的荣光，以致祭司不能进殿。全体以色列人看见有火降下，又看见耶和华的荣光停在殿上，便俯伏敬拜，称谢耶和华说：“耶和华是美善的，祂的慈爱永远长存。”

耶和华又对摩西说：“你要把我说的这些话记录下来，因为我要按这些话跟你和以色列人立约。”摩西在耶和华那里待了四十昼夜，没吃也没喝。耶和华把约的内容，就是十条诫命，写在石版上。

殿里因为上帝的荣耀和权能而烟雾弥漫，人们必须等到七位天使将七样灾祸降完，才能进入圣殿。

他又把约书念给百姓听，百姓听了都说：“我们愿意遵行耶和华的一切吩咐，我们愿意顺服。”摩西便把盆中的血洒在百姓身上，说：“这是立约的血，是耶和华按所说的话与你们立约的凭据。”

耶和华对摩西说：“把亚伦的杖放回约柜前，让叛逆之徒引以为戒。这样，你就可以平息他们对我的怨言，使他们不致灭亡。”

于是，摩西吩咐亚伦：“拿个罐子盛满两升的吗哪，放在耶和华面前，留到世世代代。”

那时，有云彩遮盖会幕，耶和华的荣光充满了圣幕。摩西不能进会幕，因为云彩停在上面，耶和华的荣光充满了圣幕。

“把这律法书放在你们的上帝耶和华的约柜旁，作为指控你们的证据。

并在殿里预备了放约柜的地方。约柜里有耶和华的约，是祂把我们的祖先带出埃及时跟他们立的。”

吹号的和歌乐手一起同声赞美和称谢耶和华，伴随着号、钹及各种乐器的声音，高声赞美耶和华：“祂是美善的，祂的慈爱永远长存！”那时，有云彩充满了耶和华的殿，以致祭司不能在殿里供职，因为殿里充满了耶和华上帝的荣光。

亚伦对以色列全体会众说话的时候，他们向旷野远望，果然看见耶和华的荣光在云彩中显现。

到了破晓时分，耶和华从云柱火柱中俯视埃及军队，扰乱他们的队伍。

耶和华的荣耀从基路伯天使的上面升起，停在殿的门口，殿里充满了云彩，院子也充满了耶和华荣耀的光辉。

耶和华的荣耀停留在西奈山上，密云遮盖了山六天。第七天，耶和华在云中召唤摩西。在以色列人眼中，耶和华的荣耀在山上好像烈火。摩西上到山上，走进云中，在那里停留了四十昼夜。

耶和华对摩西说：“告诉你哥哥亚伦，他不可随意进入幔子里面的至圣所，走到约柜上的施恩座前，免得死亡，因为我要在施恩座之上的云彩中显现。

耶和华走在他们前面，白天用云柱为他们指示道路，晚上用火柱照亮他们，这样他们可以日夜赶路。

安放约柜的圣幕支起来那天，云彩遮盖了它。当晚，云彩整夜像火焰一般。
