歷時既久、越至三年、耶和華諭以利亞曰、往見亞哈、我將降雨於地、

頃之、風雲驟起、黑遍穹蒼、沛然下雨、亞哈乘車、往耶斯列、

耶和華歟、爾所懲責、訓以律者、其有福兮、

以利亞為人、情同我儕、切求不雨、則不雨於地、歷三年有六月、再求、則天賜雨、而地出其產、○

眾民將往而言曰、其來、我儕登耶和華之山、詣雅各上帝之室、彼將教我以其道、我將履於其途、蓋法律自錫安而出、耶和華之言、由耶路撒冷而來、

耶和華歟、示我以爾典章之道、我必終守之兮、

亭午、以利亞戲之曰、大聲而呼、彼乃神、或默想、或暫出、或遠行、或假寐、必使之醒、遂大聲而呼、以刃與戟自刺、迨及血流、循其常例、自午後至獻素祭時、託神而言、仍無聲響、無應者、無顧者、以利亞謂眾曰、其來就我、民咸就之、以利亞修葺耶和華傾圮之壇、昔耶和華諭雅各曰、爾名以色列、以利亞循雅各裔支派之數、取石十二、奉耶和華之名築壇、四周作溝、可容穀種二細亞、列柴、臠牛置於柴上、曰、以水充四甕、傾於燔祭及柴、又曰、再行之、則行之再、復曰、三行之、則行之三、水流於壇之四周、以充其溝、獻素祭時、先知以利亞前曰、亞伯拉罕以撒以色列之上帝、耶和華歟、願爾今日顯示、爾在以色列中為上帝、我為爾僕、凡我所為、悉遵爾命、耶和華歟、尚其聽我、尚其聽我、使斯民皆知、爾耶和華乃上帝、爾使其心翻然而轉、耶和華之火遂降、焚其燔祭、以及其柴、其石、其塵土、亦涸溝中之水、民眾見此、則俯伏曰、耶和華乃上帝、耶和華乃上帝、以利亞謂眾曰、執巴力之先知、毋使一人逸、遂執之、以利亞曳至基順溪、殺之於彼、○

寅畏耶和華者誰乎、於其所選之途、必蒙訓示兮、

耶和華歟、因我敵故、以爾義導於我先、使爾途坦於我前兮、

耶和華歟、示我以爾道、我必遵行爾真理、俾我一心、敬畏爾名兮、

我將訓爾、示爾當由之路、我目注爾、而勸戒兮、

耶和華乃善乃正、故以道示罪人兮、

將有大道、稱為聖路、不潔之輩、弗克經行、惟為主民所備、行是路者、雖愚不迷、

我惟爾是恃、俾於清晨得聞慈言、我心仰爾、示我當行之路兮、

遂遣其徒、同希律黨、就之曰、夫子、我知爾乃誠者、且以誠宣上帝道、亦不徇人、蓋不以貌取人也、

願爾上帝耶和華、示我當行之途、當為之事、

民獲罪爾、致天閉塞不雨、遭爾罰時、若向此祈禱、而認爾名、改悔厥罪、求爾在天垂聽、赦宥爾僕及爾民以色列之罪、誨以當行之善道、降雨於爾地、即爾所錫爾民為業者、

爾或偏於左、偏於右、耳中必聞有聲、在爾後曰、此乃道路、爾其由之、

上帝歟、爾沛霖雨、爾業困乏、俾其堅固兮、
