所羅門跪耶和華壇前、向天舉手、祈禱既畢、則起、

摩西退、出邑、拱手禱耶和華、雷雹悉止、雨不淋漓。

爾曹殺人、雖舉手禱告弗輟、我必不俯聞、而遐棄爾。

摩西曰、我出邑、將拱手禱耶和華、雷必即止、雹不復降、使爾知宇內、悉為耶和華所治。

以色列族眾咸睹、所羅門立耶和華壇前、向天舉手、既作銅臺、長廣各五尺、高三尺、置院中、所羅門立其上、在以色列族前曲跽、向天舉手、曰、以色列族之上帝耶和華歟、天上地下、無可比儗、爾僕克盡厥心、行從爾道、爾與之守約、施其仁慈。昔所許爾僕、我父大闢者、爾踐其前言、以今日之事為證。以色列族之上帝耶和華、又許爾僕大闢、曰、如爾子孫、所為謹恪、行於我前、守我律法、克肖乎爾、則必不絕爾嗣、繼以色列國位、今求以色列族之上帝耶和華、所許爾僕大闢之言、俾有效驗。

王立於臺、在耶和華前立約、一心一志、從事耶和華、守其禁令、法度禮儀、遵約書所載、民咸樂從。

我尚生存、必舉手以頌讚爾名兮、

爾如洗心、祈禱上帝、

見王立於臺、循其常例、又見群臣、及吹角者待於王側、角鳴之際、斯土之民歡然欣喜、亞大利乃裂其衣、疾呼曰、爾黨其謀叛乎、爾黨其謀叛乎。

我欲人拱手敬虔、毋怒毋疑、隨在祈禱、

予向爾聖所。而舉手呼籲於上兮、請爾俯聞、
