长老中有一位对我说：“不要哭！看哪，那从犹大支派出来的狮子，大卫的根，他已经得胜了，他能够展开那书卷，拆开它的七印。”

柜的上面有荣耀的基路伯罩着施恩座，关于这一切，现在不能一一细说了。

至于它们脸孔的形状，四个活物都各有一个人的脸孔，在右边各有一个狮子的脸孔，在左边各有一个牛的脸孔，此外各有一个鹰的脸孔；

你要用黄金锤成两个基路伯，放在施恩座的两端。

每一个基路伯各有四个脸孔：第一是基路伯的脸孔，第二是人的脸孔，第三是狮子的脸孔，第四是鹰的脸孔。

又用黄金做了两个基路伯，是从施恩座的两端用锤锤成的；

也就像活石，被建造成为灵宫，作圣洁的祭司，藉着耶稣基督献上蒙神悦纳的灵祭。

铜海安放在十二头铜牛背上，三头向北，三头向西，三头向南，三头向东，铜海是在铜牛之上，牛尾都向内。

因为我对以法莲要像只猛狮，对犹大家必像头少壮狮子。我要亲自撕裂他们，然后离去；我把他们带走，没有人能搭救。

宝座前有一个看来好像水晶的玻璃海。在宝座中间和宝座周围有四个活物，前后布满了眼睛。第一个活物像狮子，第二个活物像牛犊，第三个活物的脸面像人，第四个活物像飞鹰。

都刻上基路伯和棕树。基路伯和棕树相间并排，每个基路伯都有两个脸孔。这边有人的脸向着棕树，那边有狮子的脸向着棕树。全殿周围的雕刻都是这样。

他把两个基路伯安放在内殿里面，基路伯的翅膀是张开的；这一个基路伯的一个翅膀接到这边的墙壁，另一个基路伯的一个翅膀接到另一边的墙壁，他们另外的两个翅膀在殿的中间彼此相接。

于是把亚当驱逐出去，又派基路伯在伊甸园的东边，拿着旋转发火焰的剑，把守到生命树去的路。
