And Solomon ruled over all the kingdoms from the Euphrates River to the land of the Philistines, as far as the border of Egypt. These countries brought tribute and were Solomon’s subjects all his life.

所羅門統轄諸王、自大河至非利士地、延及埃及界、王使銀在耶路撒冷如石、香柏多如谷中之桑、有為所羅門驅馬、自埃及與列國而至、○所羅門其餘事蹟之始末、載於先知拿單書、與示羅人亞希雅預言之書、及先見易多論尼八子耶羅波安、啟示之書、所羅門在耶路撒冷為以色列全族之王、歷四十年、與其列祖偕眠、葬於父大衛城、子羅波安嗣位、

緣此、耶和華鞏固其國、猶大人咸進貢、富有貨財、大得尊榮、

大河之西自提弗薩、延及迦薩列王、皆為所羅門所轄、四周綏安、

爾足所履之地、必為爾有、自曠野至利巴嫩、自伯拉大河至西海、悉為爾境、

其權所及、自此海至彼海、自大河至地極兮、居於野者必跽其前、其敵舐土兮、他施暨島嶼之王納貢、示巴及西巴之王饋禮兮、諸王跪拜、列國奉事兮、

爾其許願、向爾上帝耶和華償之、四周之人、詣可畏者而獻禮兮、

亞述王撒縵以色上而攻之、何細亞臣服之、而納貢焉、

有多人至耶路撒冷、獻禮物於耶和華、且饋寶物於猶大王希西家、此後、希西家為諸邦所尊崇、○
