But Naboth replied to Ahab,“ The LORD forbid that I should sell you my ancestral inheritance.”

可是拿伯对亚哈说：“耶和华绝对不容许我把祖业给你。”

拿伯對亞哈說：「我敬畏耶和華，萬不敢將我先人留下的產業給你。」

拿伯對亞哈說：「耶和華不准我把我祖先留下的產業給你。」

拿伯對亞哈說：「耶和華不准我把我祖先留下的產業給你。」

拿伯說：「耶和華不准我把祖先的產業給你。」

可是拿伯對亞哈說：“耶和華絕對不容許我把祖業給你。”

拿伯對亞哈說：『我絕對不能將我祖先的產業給你；。』

拿伯曰、願耶和華禁我、以我祖之遺業給爾、

拿泊曰、是業乃我祖所遺、爾欲得之。我指耶和華以誓、斷不能從。

拿伯謂亞哈曰、我畏主、不敢以我先人所遺之業予爾、

But Naboth replied,“ The Lord forbid that I should give you the inheritance of my ancestors.”

But Naboth replied,“ May the Lord keep me from giving you the land my family handed down to me.”

But Naboth said to Ahab,“ The Lord forbid that I should give you the inheritance of my fathers.”

But Naboth replied,“ The Lord forbid that I should give you the inheritance that was passed down by my ancestors.”

But Naboth said to Ahab,“ As the LORD is my witness, I will never give my ancestors’ inheritance to you.”

But Naboth said to Ahab,“ The Lord forbid me that I would give you the inheritance of my fathers!”

But Naboth said to Ahab,“ The Lord forbid that I should give the inheritance of my fathers to you!”

And Naboth said to Ahab, Jehovah forbid it me, that I should give the inheritance of my fathers unto thee.

But Naboth said to Ahab,“ I will never give my fathers’ inheritance to you.”

And Naboth said to Ahab, The LORD forbid it me, that I should give the inheritance of my fathers unto thee.

Naboth said to Ahab,“ May Yahweh forbid me, that I should give the inheritance of my fathers to you!”

The land must not be sold without reclaim because the land belongs to me, for you are foreigners and residents with me.

In this way the inheritance of the Israelites will not be transferred from tribe to tribe. But every one of the Israelites must retain the ancestral heritage.

The prince will not take away any of the people’s inheritance by oppressively removing them from their property. He will give his sons an inheritance from his own possessions so that my people will not be scattered, each from his own property.’”

As far as I am concerned, far be it from me to sin against the LORD by ceasing to pray for you! I will instruct you in the way that is good and upright.

Did that which is good, then, become death to me? Absolutely not! But sin, so that it would be shown to be sin, produced death in me through what is good, so that through the commandment sin would become utterly sinful.

Absolutely not! How can we who died to sin still live in it?

I will never declare that you three are in the right; until I die, I will not set aside my integrity!

They answered him,“ Why does my lord say such things? Far be it from your servants to do such a thing!

and said,“ God forbid that I should do this! Should I drink the blood of these men who risked their lives?” Because they risked their lives to bring it to him, he refused to drink it. Such were the exploits of the three elite warriors.

But Joseph said,“ Far be it from me to do this! The man in whose hand the cup was found will become my slave, but the rest of you may go back to your father in peace.”

Far be it from us to rebel against the LORD by turning back today from following after the LORD by building an altar for burnt offerings, sacrifices, and tokens of peace aside from the altar of the LORD our God located in front of his dwelling place!”

Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Should I take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Never!

He said to his men,“ May the LORD keep me far away from doing such a thing to my lord, who is the LORD’s chosen one, by extending my hand against him. After all, he is the LORD’s chosen one.”

The people responded,“ Far be it from us to abandon the LORD so we can worship other gods!

What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Absolutely not! Certainly, I would not have known sin except through the law. For indeed I would not have known what it means to desire something belonging to someone else if the law had not said,“ Do not covet.”

But may I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

Absolutely not! Let God be proven true, and every human being shown up as a liar, just as it is written:“ so that you will be justified in your words and will prevail when you are judged.”

Absolutely not! For otherwise how could God judge the world?

Do we then nullify the law through faith? Absolutely not! Instead we uphold the law.

What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Absolutely not!

But David said to Abishai,“ Don’t kill him! Who can extend his hand against the LORD’s chosen one and remain guiltless?”David went on to say,“ As the LORD lives, the LORD himself will strike him down. Either his day will come and he will die, or he will go down into battle and be swept away.But may the LORD prevent me from extending my hand against the LORD’s chosen one! Now take the spear by Saul’s head and the jug of water, and let’s get out of here!”
