And there came in two men, children of Belial, and sat before him: and the men of Belial witnessed against him,[ even] against Naboth, in the presence of the people, saying, Naboth did blaspheme God and the king. Then they carried him forth out of the city, and stoned him with stones, that he died.

Then two scoundrels came and sat opposite him and brought charges against Naboth before the people, saying,“ Naboth has cursed both God and the king.” So they took him outside the city and stoned him to death.

Then two worthless and evil men came and sat across from him. They brought charges against Naboth in front of the people. The two men said,“ Naboth has cursed God and the king.” So they took him outside the city. They killed him by throwing stones at him.

And the two worthless men came in and sat opposite him. And the worthless men brought a charge against Naboth in the presence of the people, saying,“ Naboth cursed God and the king.” So they took him outside the city and stoned him to death with stones.

Surely I have seen yesterday the blood of Naboth, and the blood of his sons, saith the LORD; and I will requite thee in this plat, saith the LORD. Now therefore take[ and] cast him into the plat[ of ground], according to the word of the LORD.

And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die: so shalt thou put evil away from among you; and all Israel shall hear, and fear.

And from thenceforth Pilate sought to release him: but the Jews cried out, saying, If thou let this man go, thou art not Caesar’s friend: whosoever maketh himself a king speaketh against Caesar.

A man that beareth false witness against his neighbour[ is] a maul, and a sword, and a sharp arrow.

If a false witness rise up against any man to testify against him[ that which is] wrong;Then both the men, between whom the controversy[ is], shall stand before the LORD, before the priests and the judges, which shall be in those days;And the judges shall make diligent inquisition: and, behold,[ if] the witness[ be] a false witness,[ and] hath testified falsely against his brother;Then shall ye do unto him, as he had thought to have done unto his brother: so shalt thou put the evil away from among you.And those which remain shall hear, and fear, and shall henceforth commit no more any such evil among you.And thine eye shall not pity;[ but] life[ shall go] for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.

Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

A false witness[ that] speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.

So I returned, and considered all the oppressions that are done under the sun: and behold the tears of[ such as were] oppressed, and they had no comforter; and on the side of their oppressors[ there was] power; but they had no comforter.

Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father’s house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she hath wrought folly in Israel, to play the whore in her father’s house: so shalt thou put evil away from among you.

A false witness shall not be unpunished, and[ he that] speaketh lies shall perish.

Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, Amos hath conspired against thee in the midst of the house of Israel: the land is not able to bear all his words.

But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.

And Joshua, and all Israel with him, took Achan the son of Zerah, and the silver, and the garment, and the wedge of gold, and his sons, and his daughters, and his oxen, and his asses, and his sheep, and his tent, and all that he had: and they brought them unto the valley of Achor.And Joshua said, Why hast thou troubled us? the LORD shall trouble thee this day. And all Israel stoned him with stones, and burned them with fire, after they had stoned them with stones.

For we have found this man[ a] pestilent[ fellow], and a mover of sedition among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes:

A false witness shall not be unpunished, and[ he that] speaketh lies shall not escape.

Curse not the king, no not in thy thought; and curse not the rich in thy bedchamber: for a bird of the air shall carry the voice, and that which hath wings shall tell the matter.

And they began to accuse him, saying, We found this[ fellow] perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying that he himself is Christ a King.

And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This[ man] blasphemeth.

And it was so, when the days of[ their] feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings[ according] to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.

For many bare false witness against him, but their witness agreed not together.And there arose certain, and bare false witness against him, saying,We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.But neither so did their witness agree together.

Then they suborned men, which said, We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses, and[ against] God.

Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die.

And the Israelitish woman’s son blasphemed the name[ of the LORD], and cursed. And they brought him unto Moses:( and his mother’s name[ was] Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan:)And they put him in ward, that the mind of the LORD might be shewed them.And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,Bring forth him that hath cursed without the camp; and let all that heard[ him] lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him.And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Whosoever curseth his God shall bear his sin.And he that blasphemeth the name of the LORD, he shall surely be put to death,[ and] all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeth the name[ of the LORD], shall be put to death.

Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord,And cast[ him] out of the city, and stoned[ him]: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man’s feet, whose name was Saul.And they stoned Stephen, calling upon[ God], and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.

And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

False witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge[ things] that I knew not.

Neither shalt thou bear false witness against thy neighbour.

And the LORD said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp.And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the LORD commanded Moses.

And they shall pass through it, hardly bestead and hungry: and it shall come to pass, that when they shall be hungry, they shall fret themselves, and curse their king and their God, and look upward.

And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in[ his] wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger[ from his right], and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.

Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not,[ being] in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour’s wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among you.
